Nice Hotel for the Price

Pros: After a very long drive with two children our room was ready early. That was so good because the kids needed naps. I liked the size of the room.,
Cons: The room temperature was difficult to control. We were either too hot or too cold. On Sunday the fire alarms went off at 6:30 am waking everyone.
The hotel was easy to get to from the highway. Very nice lobby with bar and restaurant. We did not use those amenities. The room was spacious.

Pros: The pool was clean and jacuzzi was clean

This is my 2nd time staying her at this hotel. Its has friendly service in the kitchen and waitress. The reception desk is so friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and renovated. Bathroom was clean and all staff was friendly and helpful.

Pros: I loved that the smell, look & feel of the hotel was clean as soon as we walked in. The staff when we arrived were friendly, social & welcoming.
Cons: The mattresses dipped in the middle. The ck-out clerk was nothing to be desired; she should've stayed hm. Include continental breakfast.
Location: The location was good for the event we were all in state to attend.
Loved the look, smell & feel of cleanliness as soon as we walked in to hotel. Ck-in staff was social, welcoming & friendly. Surprised that the mattresses weren't replaced since they dipped so much in the middle. Also surprised that the bathroom didn't have an exhaust. Although it was an oversight on my part that breakfast buffet was extra, I think it should be included considering the cost of the rm. Otherwise, for that price, we could've gone to diner & had more than a continental breakfast. Ck-out clerk was a handful. Although I was turning in 2 separate rm cards, she didn't bother w/ them, yet couldn't find the other rm on her computer...nor under my name. She blamed Expedia since that's how I booked them, which I don't even know what that had to do w/ anything. I was about to tell her to refund the 1 rm then since she couldn't find it, but then she advised that there would be no charges on the card I provided @ ck-in. I reminded her that there shouldn't be since I pd for the reservations a mth ago. Her reply? "I know! That's what I just said!" If she didn't feel like being @ wk, then she should've stayed hm. Her attitude was horrible & caused whatever pleased feelings I initially felt about the hotel. This is why I would hesitate to recommend this place & would sooner advise ppl to shop around.

FANTASTIC HOTEL AND STAFF

We were in Melville/Plainview for my Uncle's Funeral. The hotel was very nice/clean and staff were very pleasant. Had Dinner after the wake and that was tasty and portioned well. Kelly, at the Front Desk was THE BEST! She found out we were there for a Family Death, and gave us a complimentary breakfast, before the burial. THANK YOU KELLY FOR BEING A COMPASSIONATE HUMAN BEING!
