“Convenience”

Close to the airport walking distance from a good selection of restaurants & stores walking distance from the train station Clean & quiet Great breakfast!

Area recommendations

We rode the train to Penn Station & then walked to the various sites we wanted to see.

“Nice hotel”

Possibly the nicest hotel in this class that I have stayed in, especially for the NYC area where you can pay higher prices for not too much. The hotel was clean, and staff members were very nice. The complimentary breakfast was well stocked, there was plenty of room for seating, and a manager was walking around asking people if they needed anything. Fairly early on a Sunday morning no less. Again, it is easy to miss. It's is right where Sunrise Highway and Merrick Road cross each other ( my GPS sent me to the wrong place). Even though the address is Merrick Road, you need to be going west on Sunrise Highway (back towards Queens), in the far right lane. Get off where the sign points you back to Merrick. The hotel driveway is right on that connecting street.

“Good hotel for the area”

There needs to be clearer directions and warnings about how to actually get to the hotel once you are in the area. Very confusing--for some reason GPS or web maps to not accurately explain how to get into the hotel.

“Excellent Hotel”

Great hotel. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and functional with free internet access as well as free breakfast buffet & newspaper each morning. I would stay there again. It should be noted that although this hotel has an address of Merrick Road, it is not accessible from Merrick Road. This tiny portion of Merrick Road is only accessible from Sunrise Highway going Westbound. The address should really be Sunrise Highway. Doesn't make sense.

“Delivered what we needed for a quick stay”

The room was ready, we were able to get right in and the room was in good condition. We had a very peaceful evening and good sleep. The bathroom was in very good condition and we had a good breakfast. We have stayed here in the past and have not been disappointed.

Downtown has some nice little resturaunts.

“Very good for the $”

Very bright and clean hotel. Room was well appointed. Nice breakfast each morning. Only drawback to this hotel is the access from the highway. Entrance and exit are from one direction only,and not on the main drag. Would recommend however

“This hotel was AMAZING!”

I can not say enough good things about this hotel. The staff was extremely courteous, the rooms were large and beautiful. They offered free coffee, tea and fruit 24 hours a day and the place was extremely clean. Loved it! BTW, this is the first time that I ever felt compelled to write a review.

The hotel is tucked away in the back. You must pay attention as you near the hotel or you could miss it.
