This was a very nice, quiet, and convenient stay for a wedding I was celebrating nearby (St. Patrick’s in Glen Cove). The location and space is beautiful. There is some room for improvements, mostly in the decor department. The hallways and room were on the “bland” side of decor. Very standard wallpaper and good lighting, but the walls clearly had spaces where portraiture or paintings could be added to liven the place. An idea could be scenes from around Glen Cove or Long Island. The room itself was very clean and neat, a very comfortable bed and great linens. There could be a few more furnishings (an armchair and maybe some paintings and a cabinet for the mini fridge). The downside to the bathroom was that there was no vent. Also, there was no place to hang a towel to dry after use. Lastly, the shower was good, with great water pressure and good temperature control. But there was no type of seal around the sliding door to prevent water from spilling out of the shower. I’d recommend a rubber track at the bottom of the sliding door that can resolve this problem. Otherwise, this was a wonderful and pleasant stay!

This property was lovely. We did not get a room in the mansion, but one of the 187 other rooms added to the Pratt property some time ago. Clean overall. Positive: comfortable beds; excellent buffet breakfast included. Negative bathroom issues: no towel bars; glass shower entry with faucets at far end - not easily reached; no grab bars in the shower - dangerous!

Good location. Beautiful grounds. Staff was very friendly. The only issue we had was with the wifi taking a few days to correct but otherwise would highly recommend this location if in the area. Will definitely stay here again when in the Glen Gove/Bayville area.

My husband and I picked this hotel to truly relax. The mansion is GORGEOUS! The bed was soooo comfortable. The breakfast that was included was delicious. The grounds are immaculately kept and beautiful. We enjoyed ourselves so much.

I realize this is an older hotel, but the lack of electric outlets is unacceptable. Put a few power strips and at least there needs to be plugs for 2 phone chargers by the beds. Also, shower wasnt hot. Just warm

The place was nice and clean. The staff were also nice. Check-in and check-out super easy. Parking lot kind of far. My room was also very far from the front desk. Would stay again if I had to but I would need a closer room to the entrance. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.
