I go for cleanliness and this property was what I hoped it would be…the hotel itself seemed dated but the rooms were pretty updated although I must say the lighting in the room could be a lot better—to my taste, it was too dark…

‘room smelled horrible’ I complained at the front desk about the smell so they sent a cleaning person right away, and she sprayed the whole room with Lysol while I was standing there I had to go outside for fresh air to be able to breathe afterwards the room has no window that opens so you unable to get fresh air into the room very bad experience because of the smell

Relocating during Holidays
Needed a place to stay while relocating during the Holidays. The hotel had beautiful decorations the food in the restaurant was delicious. Staff was very friendly. Bed was so comfortable too.

Terrible management. Basically crooks. Holding my money for incidentals is ridiculous. The three fire alarms in the middle of the night was unacceptable. Would never stay at this hotel again. Would put on a "avoid" warning list. . Will be calling Expedia to request a refund. Have called my bank to report fraud by hotel re incidental charges that were not used..

To call us crooks is uncalled for and will not tolerated. We were very accommodating to your situation as we tried many different cards that you provided that kept declining. We informed you during your stay that the funds would be released when you departed. We are not holding your funds at this timeI am so sorry about the fire alarm and can only imagine your frustration. I am happy that we were able to compensate you to your satisfaction.I hope you give us another chance in the future.

I got a room on the Wellness level and it happened to be backed up to the gas station. The bright lights came into the window all night (with curtains closed) people use the area behind the hotel to smoke and it’s right outside of the rooms window. On top of that i could hear the people above me and around me constantly. Every cough or Creek they made. Lastly, the room was very dark, with no overhead lights and having to keep the curtains closed from the sidewalks it felt like a basement. The staff was very nice whenever i asked for something but the room and its location within the hotel was less than desirable.

Wonderful stay
Staff were amazing! From check in , restaurant, housekeeping and pool. The pool was constantly cleaned, water tested and towels provided. Staff made an average hotel stay and excellent experience!

We stayed for 11 nights at this property which is based in a nice quiet area that didn’t feel at all like New York and had a nice pool area. Also there was always a cold drink available as you walk in. The only negatives would be the remoteness of the location if you aren’t driving and the breakfast which was hit and miss.

The only reason I didn't give it an overall "Excellent" rating was because the pillows were horrible. We had to fold them in half to get any support. One other minor thing... only one tiny soap square was provided in the bathroom; not sufficient for hand washing and showers for two people.
