Pros: It was convenient to where we needed to be.
Cons: TV in the room was fuzzy and didn't seem to be HD
For $250 a night, I would have expected that breakfast was included, and not $13 per person. Room service (maid perhaps?) knocked on the door at 8:30 in the morning, and then attempted to open the door. Completely unacceptable.

Good value for the area

Posted 10-Apr-2014
Pros: Seems like it would be good for a business trip for a few days, if you need to be in the area.
Cons: It would be nice if the room rate included a continental breakfast,
Location: It is a very busy location, so exploration on foot is not a good idea. If you have to be somewhere in the morning, leave plenty of time. It IS LI.
We arrived late, stayed overnight, and left early. Luckily they have an on-site cafe with food and beverage that serves food until 10:30 pm or so. There is a buffet available at additional cost. Didn't get to use most of the business amenities, but there is wi-fi throughout.

I stayed there for one night. The room was huge and comfortable. My main concern was the cleanliness which was met. You definitely need a car to get by though.

The hotel was incredible!!! The room was in tip top shape and the front desk service was fantastic! I was greeted with a smile and helpful information. Not to mention I was greeted within seconds of walking in. When I entered the room it was the perfect temperature and insanely clean. The bed was heavenly. There was also a microwave I the room which was good to heat up my midnight snack :)

Good location

Posted 09-Jul-2013 on Hotels.com
The only thing good about this hotel was the location. I booked this hotel because the one I usually stay at (Homewood Suites) was not available. I read all the promising reviews, and since I know the area well, I went ahead and booked it. I was very disappointed. While the appearance of the room wasn't terrible, it did need some updating. There were cracks in the ceiling, and the carpet was stained. The worst part for me was that all the linen and towels, while they appeared clean were damp. The whole room had a moist, mildew kind of thing going on. It really creeped me out. If there had been any other rooms available in Long Island that night I would have forfeited my way overpriced $200.00 believe me, I had been checking everyday for the previous two weeks. I stayed during the 4th of July week. The whole town was booked. I almost took my family and slept in the car. I will say this, the bathroom was brand new and spotless. It was the one bright spot in the room. It felt like it was part of another hotel. After practically sitting up all night, I couldn't wait to shower off the dampness of the room and get out!!!!

Very nice inside.

I had a pleasant stay. The only down side was that the hotel has an odd textured carpet which made rolling suitcases more of a chore than usual. The pictures in the hallway of Jones Beach in the first half of the 20th Century was a nice touch.
