“Very Pleasant Stay”
The hotel staff was friendly, the room very clean, and the breakfast was adequate, the price was moderate. All in all, a very nice hotel and I would definitely stay there again.
“Felt like I was in a "brand new" hotel”
My wife thought it was a brand new hotel and had to ask one of the workers how old it was. She said that it wasn't new, but was a few years old.
“Nice Place”
Nice , clean, good breakfast, and great location.
“very noisy heating system”
a beutiful hotel but the heater in the room was so loud that i had a very poor nights sleep because i woke up every time the heater went on. if i kept the heat low so it woudnt go on we were freezing.
“Plastic Breakfast”
Everything was fine and friendly, but we found the breakfast excessively synthetic. Every item was plastic, or plastic-wrapped, sometimes double-warpped. Even more than an airline meal. For us, this is a no-no.
“New Decade in Long Island”
What more can I say? Immaculate hotel, friendly service and tons of amenities on call. Not the busiest little berg to vacation in but for those of us visitng friends and looking for a quiet escape it was perfect (especially for the price)
“Beware of pool rules!”
The hotel was chosen because of location and it was listed with a pool and breakfast. When checking in, the clerk told us about pool hours, getting the key, and had us sign a waiver to acknowledge there was no guard on duty. All fine. I used the pool in the evening with my daughter and commented that it is only 4 ft 9 in at the deepest and hardly more than one stroke wide and two strokes long, but still it was good for doing some exercises in it. But, in the morning when I went down to get the key for the pool, they told me I had to have another adult in there with me! I explained I was a Red Cross certified guard at home and the pool was not really big enough to swim in, and where was I to find another adult so early in the morning? Also, the main hallway went along the pool area with windows the whole length, giving another measure of security. Still, until I found another adult over the age of 18 to sign in with me, I couldn't use the pool. Not exactly friendly for a single traveling business person! Note, that includes using the hot tub/whirlpool--only with another adult. I finally convinced my husband he didn't want to stay in bed and he could sleep in a chair by the pool. The hotel clerk told me it was a state law, but I have travelled extensively, and also in NYS and have never before encountered such a rule. So, beware if you travel alone and want to use a pool at this hotel--it won't be easy.
“The professional quality of the staff”
The services are excellent. The staff there are very friendly, caring and professional.
“A great hotel!”
Hotel was immaculately clean, had great services and food for breakfast. Wi-Fi was fast and easy to set up. Will definitely stay here again and at other locations. A winner!!
