“Super small room”

Was very disappointed in this hotel, the room was like being in prison small and the walls were all brick. Very uncomfortable. I would never go back, and dont recommend it to anyone.

“I would go back”

We chose this hotel for practical reasons. If you expect a breath taking view from your room, you'll be solely disappointed. But the service was excellent, the room was clean and the breakfast was very good (no donuts for breakfast, thank God!). The staff was friendly and very helpful. I would have absolutely no problems going back to this hotel.

“Fairfield Inn, Syosset, L.I.”

Initial aroom assignment was unsatisfactory--small and cramped. At first, mgmt said no other rooms were available. When I insisted, remnding them that we were spending 4 days there, and that I was Marriott Platinum Elite, they found a different room (they said it was the same room we had last year). As in the past, I received no Marriott reward points. I think this should change.

“If only Syosset didn't have a high breast cancer rate......”

Great hotel.....the staff is very friendly and helpful! I stayed during a recent snow storm and the staff helped with shoveling and cleaning my car.

“If only we could have taken the mattress with us...”

We LOVED the mattress and slept like babies. The room decor was "meh"... nothing to get excited about, but certainly not anything to complain about. The breakfast was good, but the coffee not so much. The location was great for out-of-towners that may be attending a function at the Milleridge Inn.

“Park in the Dark?”

Nowhere in the description did it say the Syosset Fairfield Inn offers the smallest parking lot in America....the disclaimer about parking in the auto repair shop lot across the street after hours was funny, because you had to move your car before 9 a.m.and we intended to sleep later after attending a wedding in Woodbury that night...staff was pleasant, room was adequate, although they couldn't provide rooms on the same floor for our cousins. breakfast was fine.

“Excellent Choice”

We were traveling to Woodbury for a wedding and checked carefully before making this reservation. We searched all of the online reviews and were looking for mostly cleanliness, EXTREMELY clean room. I accidentally dropped something under the bed and it was spotless!

“Great Place To Stay”

The Fairfield Marriott was a great place to stay. We only stayed one night, but everything was to our satisfaction. The room was a little small, but we were in an odd corner room and I have nothing to compare it to since it was our first stay there. The room was immaculate. The bathroom was spotless as was the rest of the room. One of the only hotel rooms where I would walk around without my shoes on. Everything was top notch. Service was great, they call after check in to make sure you have everything you need. Staff was very professional and neat in appearance. Only downside was the parking; it was very limited. They even rent a small lot at the tire service center next door for additonal parking but you have to remove your car by 9am. Also, that lot is full of pot holes. The location of the hotel is okay, not great. But overall I would certainly stay there again. Deserves it's Insiders' Select designation.

“as expected”

the breakfast was decent, if limited, and the location and ease of access was great. the rooms were clean and as you would expect from similar hotels. i had no complaints. just fine for the price.
