No water to have shower and I mean no water rooms dated beds need replaced with new ones hotel very far out of town we could not get food when we arrived even though big sign outside says food served all day it was not worth the money and while staff were nice this hotel needs to come into the 21st century we will not be staying again and regret paying what we paid we have better at home

Difficult to find but worth the effort

Posted 30-Aug-2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel is difficult to locate as it is on a little road immediately off a large roundabout. Once we located it all was well. The room was large with a lovely matress an fist class linen. The shower worked perfectly. Meals in the restarant were well priced and varied.

Definitely NOT a 4-Star Hotel

Posted 24-Aug-2014 on Hotels.com
I was not happy at all with this hotel. The hotel is very hard to find and not very close to the city. I was drawn to this hotel because I liked the modern and chic rooms in the pictures; however, our room was outdated and not terribly clean. (Definitely NOT the room shown in the pictures.) It also had a stale smell to it. The furniture in the room was old and cheap. The rug flat and dirty. Our room was situated near the back service entrance; we could hear noises (generator?) until very late and then early in the morning. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The shower water seemed to have two temperatures: scalding or freezing. The side of the bath was falling off. The television in the room was a small computer monitor not much bigger than my laptop screen. Breakfast was terrible. What was nice? The staff!! The receptionist was very pleasant and chatty. Likewise, the girl in the restaurant was friendly. Hotels.com has this listed as a 4-star hotel ... give me a break!! I would not stay here again.

Good cost:quality ratio

Posted 04-Aug-2014 on Hotels.com
Check-in was smooth and efficient, they had taken note of a disability suitable room request and had booked are rooms fairly close together. he rooms are a bit rough round the edges with minor bits missing. The rooms are OK but definitely could do with modernising to match the communal areas. In terms of cleanliness, the bedding is fresh and the bathroom seemed well cleaned but you don't have to look too far for a bit of dust, so it's not unclean but could be cleaner. The staff were very friendly and helpful with all of our requests. Ask for the free taxi voucher! I have to mention the food, it really is great and reasonably priced. Breakfast were good but the lunch and evening meals are excellent- very tasty. There was a wedding on when we were there (Wednesday). The music was loud but it did stop at about 11pm. It didn't annoy us too much but I guess if you wanted an early night this would be a problem. A bigger annoyance was that some of the doors really slam shut, ours didn't and so why can't the hotel get the door shutters fixed? Such an easy fix to help people get a better nights sleep. All-in-all, for the price you pay you will get a good deal here, just don't expect too much ad you will have a good stay. Although I've been a bit critical note that I've given 4 stars and that is based on the cost:quality ratio.

Do not eat here

The food in the restaurant was unbelievably bad. It is a long time since I have been served such cheap food at hotel prices. If there was someone in the kitchen he needs an attitude and a career change

Handy Location and very friendly

Posted 07-Apr-2014 on Hotels.com
Apart from the rooms that we stayed in being every so slightly "tired" everything else was spot on. We had two rooms staying two nights while up doing a job in the area, everyone was very pleasant, food was brilliant and the service was first class. Already have the go ahead on other jobs in the same area and plan on going back here to stay as no complaints this time.

Great Food and service

Posted 24-Sep-2013 on Hotels.com
I was pleased enough with my stay . The reception staff were good and the food and service in the restaurant were excellent. The noise at night in the corridor and from what sounded like a Disco was annoying and also there was no shampoo in the rooms which one comes to expect today. . Also the TV satalite signal was very weak so it took ages for the channels to change and kick in so much so it was too frustrating to look at the TV so I turned it off.

Nice hotel, very helpful reception staff!!!!!!!!!!

Posted 20-Sep-2013
My wife and I, along with my parents, stayed at the hotel for 1 night while visiting Derry. The hotel was nice, the food was good, as was the pub. Good value for money, plus the reception was incredibly helpful regarding transportation information, and other info requests. I didn't check the name, but a big thanks to the person at reception on the afternoon of September 17th.
