Great location, nice property, comfortable beds and baths. When we were there the elevator was broken and we were on 3rd floor. It was a little taxing on my back and knees. The staff were friendly and helped with our bags.

Staff wasn’t very friendly. Rooms are cramped. We had a basement room which had limited light. Alarm went off at 3am because someone’s long steamy shower set it off.

This was a great stay would not change anything. Great value and an amazing area close to the tube 30 seconds away. Stay here you won’t be sorry we had the double deluxe room and was a good size. Would recommend this room size.

we had a really nice stay with good service and in a great location. very comfy bed and very clean and easy to understand surroundings. only downside is there’s no curtain in the middle so can be very bright at night as the lights from outside the building shine in very brightly through the night, making it difficult to sleep. thank you very much for the accommodation and would definitely stay again.

Property is in a good area. A lot to do in walking distance. Close to tube and central London. Building condition on the outside looks good but when you walk in smells sour as water damage throughout the property. Rooms are very small. I knew booking the property the rooms were not large but even smaller in person. Cleaning crew is lovely and efficient but front staff are not very helpful.

I stayed at Merit Kensington for 1 night during a business trip. The hotel location was convenient with Earls Court Station just a 3-minute walk away, and plenty of places to grab food/drinks nearby including M&S Food, Starbucks and KFC. The hotel was clean, quiet, and good value for money. Would happily stay again!

Great for a weekend stay
Nice and comfortable stay. Very clean and nice and modern interior too. Shower was great. Reception staff were efficient but not overly welcoming. Was great to be able to store luggage before and after check in and out. Location was excellent and just around the corner from the station. Lovely area, close to shops. Was perfect for a weekend stay.

We loved our stay at Merit Kensington! It was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. They were so kind to hold our bags for us before and after checking in and out of our room. We had a room for 3 and plenty of space. Access to the underground was so easy and we were able to transport directly to Heathrow from Earls Court station on the Piccadilly line without making any train changes which is so nice with luggage! The only downside is that they didn’t have an extra pillow when asked, or little amenities like coffee in the lobby. We were completely happy with our stay and would absolutely book again next time we are in London!

Thank you for staying with us. We believe a hotel room should be a home away from home. Coffee facilities are available in the room, however if when you are in the lobby and request a coffee, a member of staff will be delighted to bring you one. Some housekeeping itens are only availbale up to a certain time, like extra pillows preferably requested earlier in the day.

Good room but Receptionist rather unhelpful
Small room but had everything you'd need. Everything very clean. Hotels.com were trying to get me a bigger room as I mistakenly booked a single but the hotel didn't respond to them. When I arrived and told the receptionist the situation they just said they hadn't received any request and said they were fully booked without even checking. I just came away feeling they were very unhelpful. But the room itself was fine, although being in the basement was a little noisy with people walking overhead.

Excellent stay
Absolutely lovely hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Beds are super comfy and i took my 11 week old baby, which they provided a travel cot and set it all up for us. Very clean, air con very good and heated floor in the bathroom. Very close to earls court underground station, shops and restaurants nearby, will definitely stay again and highly recommend this hotel.

There was not a very warm welcome or goodbye at the reception area. The room was far too small and the size of the bathroom was ridiculous. I was very disappointed with the whole experience (£650), birthday treat for my wife.

Great stay, great location
Our overall stay was great. Location (1 minute walk from Earle’s court station) was perfect for what we wanted. The Garden view room we had was lovely and quiet, didn’t hear the trains at all. We didn’t think much about the breakfast though. There was a great variety of food but if it’s the full English you would go for, then it’s not for you. Everything was a little dry/cold. Lots of cafes and bars locally would probably do better and be much cheaper too.

Property was fine. Check in was very slow and there was confusion around payments. Bed was two single beds zipped together, however, they were not zipped together properly initially and even once zipped together, bed was very uncomfortable. Upon removing sheets to zip beds together it was clear the mattresses had not been cleaned in a very long time. Overall a little disappointing.

Thank you for your feedback. Our beds are brand new and very comfortable. The mattresses are protected by mattress protectors and the bedding are changed everyday and it is Egyptian cotton. The bed arrangement is as per the reservation. If a booking is for double/twin then you need to choose at the time of reservation.

Garden room: not great for winter!
The main hotel seemed fine, it’s a collection of townhouses not a single building, but well organised. However I was put in a ‘garden room’ - literally a room built into the bottom of a garden. Maybe it’s nice in summer but it was poorly insulated so quite cold in March, and noisy due to huge AC units outside the door, rain on the flat roof, and school playground next door. Also the bed was really really hard!

Remarkably quiet residential street despite tube and shops being so close. Very pleasant helpful staff and very very clean. Loved that windows would open! There was occasionally smell of sewage in room which was not pleasant.

Horrible Stay
Stay was not at all comfortable. There was no elevator and room was at third floor. I am a heart patient and it was hard to climb three floors. Moreover, breakfast room was in the basement and no elevator. Horrible stay. I explained my situation to the receptionist and initially they said they will provide a room in the lower floors. Then they changed their mind and refused. That receptionist woman was rude and bluntly refused to provide a room in the lower floor.

Great Stay for First Trip to London!
Really enjoyed my solo trip to London staying at Merit Kensington. Conveniently located near train, restaurants and shops. Small accommodations, but perfect for a solo traveler or couple, though I would recommend against two people bringing big checked luggage since there's not much storage space. Hotel staff was helpful, cleaning service was excellent and the location was clean overall and modern.
