Room Amenities
Dining
The Restaurant at the Westbury Mayfair - In keeping with the decor of the lobby, the hotel's fine-dining restaurant has walnut paneling, a large serpentine marble fireplace, and bookcases loaded with books, figurines, and whiskey decanters. Champagne-colored, Queen Anne-style chairs are positioned around generously sized round tables. The cuisine is modern British and includes a variety of seafood dishes. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served during the week, with dinner-only on weekends.
The Lounge - In the Lounge, breakfast is served in the morning, and traditional tea in the afternoon, with drinks and a changing menu of light snacks available throughout the day. Illuminated neoclassical columns dominate the room, and the salmon-pink walls are bedecked in vividly colored photographs of fashion models, in keeping with the hotel's Bond Street location. Tartan wing chairs and fresh flowers add hits of color throughout.
The Polo Bar - Deep red walls and tartan upholstered chairs add to the rich color scheme of the Polo Bar. The green, purple, and red plaid carpet, mahogany furnishings, and emerald-colored wing chairs lend an air of a private club, furthered by a mural of a polo match, and wall-mounted polo mallets. Live entertainment is often featured in the piano area, and light snacks can be ordered from the Lounge menu. The bar has an extensive cocktail list. Open from noon until the early hours.

“Excellent alround hotel”
I have been going to this hotel on average 6 x a year for business purposes and they have, this year, greatly improved their front office and CRM, so that I am now recognized at check-in and my preferences are kept on record. This will be my hotel of choice again in London in 2010.
“Ideal central location.”
Beautiful luxury hotel in ideal central location.
“I would definitely stay again”
I must tell all your readers about the fish and chips I had in the Polo. They were the best fish and chips I have every had. The staff were very attentive.
“Highly recommended!”
Stylish, comfortable, clean hotel with very helpful staff. The hotel is situated in the heart of London's West End so everything is within walking distance. Great place to stay on New Year's Eve.

“Perfect for Mayfair”
Lovely small Hotel, ideal for short stay business travellers or couples enjoying Mayfair.
“Very nice room-delux king”
The hotel is in exellent location for high fashion shoping and close to most interesting places of Central London. I chose a delux room as I have read from previous reviews that the standard rooms are very small. The room was big and comfortable and they placed me on high floors as I had requested. You can tell it is a 5 star hotel when you walk in, as they open the doors for you and the staff are nice and friendly. The only negative thing is the slow check in as I had to wait passed the check in time and they kept changing the time that the room would have been ready. However, when you pay a high cost for a hotel you expect that they will not waste any of your time and of the things that you are entitled to. If you are late to check out they will charge you but when they are late for check in they dont compensate you. Another negative thing is the doors of the rooms which are very noisy when they shut down and wake you up.
“GREAT LOCATION”
SERVICE AT BREAKFAST WAS POOR ON THIRD MORNING YOUNG ITALIAN WAITERS NOT ATALL ATTENTIVE BUT OVERALL SEVICE AND CURTERSY EXCELLENT
“Nothing wrong with it but...”
5 Star? Not quite sure how it's 5 Star. It's nice... but it's not worth the price. For the price you're paying you would not expect to have to ask for coffee making facilities (which they then charge you for) or an iron. It's a bit dated so therefore isn't perfect although it must be said the bed was comfortable the room was a decent size. Summary - it's fine - it's ok - but shop around and you'll find much nicer hotels for the same price.
