We stayed for one night, booked at the last minute. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Food was very good, and although re-decorating was underway everything was spotless. Ideal for our early start at Hampton Court the next day. Will definitely stay again.

Great staff and for a 3 star hotel it offers all you need. Bonus is the breakfast and if there on Sunday the roast is a must

Unfortunately the when I arrived there was a stale smell in the room. During the night the fire alarm went off, and that was when i stepped on a wet carpet. I reported to reception but nothing was done. Turns out the shower which was also broken was leaking under the floor into the bedroom and through the celling below. I found this out as I mentioned again on checkout, no note had been taken from the night before, and there had been complaints from the room below. Such a shame, as the location and breakfast were fantastic, but the conditions of the property were well below standard. They are clearly starting to decorate, at there were decorating sheets and dust through the corridors, plus the smell of paint, this should have been highlighted when I booked.

A lovely hotel with great atmosphere. Popular with both visitors and local clientele. Superb location for Kingston upon Thames. Great team of staff and good food. Would thoroughly recommend.

Disappointing stay
I have stayed here a few times on business but this time it wasn’t great. Stayed in room 205. The shower door didn’t close so it overhung the toilet. Floor was soaking when using shower and water pressure was poor. Restaurant was not the best. My desert lemon cremeux with blackberries meringue and pecans was 4 blackberries a bit of crumbled meringue and a couple of pecans. When I queried it I was told it had lemon on it!!! This was £7.50 so was sent back. No toast offered at breakfast! I know I could have asked but really felt I shouldn’t have to. Asked for vat receipt on checkout and was told I couldn’t have one as I booked via hotels.com/expedia. Standards have dropped here

Hi Dawn, thank you for your review and scores. I'm sorry to see your stay was not to the standards we look to achieve. Thank you for letting us know about the shower that has now been dealt with. Our lemon cremeux has lemon in side not on the dessert i will inform the team to be more accurate when explaining any dishes and toast will of course be provided if a customer wants it i apologise you didn't get this offered to you. We are not allowed to provide a VAT invoice for guests who booked via expedia this is an agreement we have with them they provide the invoices as you paid them when making the booking and is beyond our control.

Brilliant hotel
Excellent hotel in a perfect location with free parking which was such a bonus. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place.

1 night Stay
Very nice and welcoming staff on reception, our room was the Ann bollyn room which was very spacious with lovely pictures of Ann herself on the walls. The bathroom was amazing with lovely bath (free standing) room was in a lovely period style decor from the Tudor era. We will be staying here at this hotel again, definitely!!

We LOVED our stay at the White Hart in Hampton Wick / Kingston. The pub and restaurant are steeped in history and warmth. That extends to the hotel, which perfectly combines elements of history, modern features, and convenience. The location is perfect. We loved every minute, and we won’t stay anywhere else when visiting the area!

Excellent traditional hotel in great location
A lovely traditional hotel, a short walk to the station for trains to London or Windsor and also walking distance to Hampton Court Palace. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was very good.plenty of nearby restaurants.

When we arrived they offered a room without air and we said we preferred what we booked with air. They conversed for a minute & gave us a room. Sadly the air was broken & it was very hot. At checkout in the AM they said they knew it was broken, so they placed us in a room we did not want &!m offered no discount. I asked for an itemized statement & he kept hesitating, when he did provide it after paying he had add a 10% gratuity!!!! I recommend avoiding here.

This is a lovely small hotel, with a nice bar and dining area and a good standard of food. The rooms were updated a while ago, and are beginning to look less impressive than they did, but still in good condition. We've stayed her for several years on trips to Kingston on Thames and preferred it when they used to provide little packets of shortbreads and other biscuits with the tea and coffee available in your room (rather than chocolate samples??), but do appreciate there is tea, coffee and a mini fridge with real milk and water too.

Lovely hotel. Easy to get to and it has parking onsite which is very handy. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room spacious and comfortable. The air conditioning unit came in very useful as we were visiting when it was 30 degrees outside. Will definitely stay again and would recommend to others.

Great pub chain experience
Short break in Hampton. Large bedroom with king bed and aircon which was needed! Good quality in room beverage items with coffee maker and small fridge. Breakfasts were really good with great choice and always fresh and hot as table service. Friendly and helpful staff and reception phone always picked up which can be a bit rare sometimes! Car park very handy and always spaces available. Overall really impressed with what could just be an average pub chain experience but was definitely not. Thank you Fullers Hampton Wick.
