“Great location, decent room”

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 thirteen year old children), spent 4 days at this hotel, visiting from the US. The location is excellent, only a couple of blocks from Paddington Station (underground and trains to Heathrow airport). Very clean room and linens, and decent beds. The room was a little tight, but this is London. The staff was very nice and helpful, and we will definitely stay there again in the future.

“Small, but nice, rooms.”

The standard double rooms are tiny, with barely any room to leave your suit case open. We were, however, lucky enough to be upgraded, because the double rooms were overbooked. The suite we stayed in was really what I would call a normal size hotel room. The bathrooms are very modern beautiful, very clean and have nice toiletries. The water from the taps was either warm or hot, which we thought a bit odd. The heating didn't work on our last day, but that didn't bother us.

“Great location in a well conditioned hotel”

Location, location, location! This place is just one small block away from Paddington train/ subway staton, and really well communicated for reaching all the main attracctions in and outside London! Facilities are nice and in case you do not have breakfast included, there are plenty of options around Paddington station as well as a large variety of good restaurants and commercial shops in the area.

“Lovely experience.”

Comfortable hotel within two blocks from Paddington Station. Courteous and helpful desk staff. Very clean, modern decor. Close to shops and restaurants. Elevator, microwave, safe, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, fan, cooler (not a fridge)provided. So glad I had read the previous reviews because the hotel loaned out electrical adapters if you asked for one at the desk for free. Remember to bring your own washcloth! The ceiling over the shower probably would have been low for someone 6 foot tall, but was perfect for my mother and me. Also, we were glad we didn't have one of the rooms you had to step down into - that would have been fine for youger people, but not for us! We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, ever, but ate at one of the nearby cafes or at Paddington station or bought something the night before at the Sainsburys grocery store in Paddington sta. We loved the atmosphere of the neighborhood! (however, there were lots of people rushing to and from Paddington Station in the mornings and evenings which can be hazardous for older people!) I recommend Expedia to anyone planning a trip!

“Quiet &RelaxingGetaway”

Only 2 blocks from Paddingtion Station. Very convenient to all modes of transport. Staff was young and helpful. They were always ready to give assistance. Though some rooms were small, our room was the family suite which was just right for a family of four. Included in cost was a continental breakfast of roll, croisant coffee & tea, though full breakfast could also be purchased. Very quiet street.

“Great location and great hotel - would definitely go back”

This hotel is VERY close to Paddington station. The room we stayed in had just been renovated and was really nice. It had a bar fridge which was really useful, as there was a grocery store at the train station where we bought breakfast items and snacks. Free internet in the lobby was a convenience. A bowl of apples on the front desk every day was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and helpful. We checked in early in the day (11:30 a.m.) as our flight arrived at 8:00 a.m. and they gave us a room right away, which was great. It was the room in the basement (still had windows looking out into a courtyard) under the lobby, but surprisingly we weren't kept awake by any noise. Definitely a good place to stay while visiting London!

“Lovely”

Very charming and conveniently located. Staff was excellent and helpful. The breakfast served in the lower level was great - a good start for a busy day. The young ladies serving the breakfast were always cheerful and welcoming.

“A Great Place to Stay”

We had 5 of us traveling together in a group. Three of us stayed in one room and two in the other and we were all very happy with the accommodations. The location was great with many restaurants to choose from and some shopping. The five minute walk to Paddington Station was so convenient for all of our transportation needs and quick access to the Underground Tube or the railway. The rooms were a bit small, but lovely decor, very clean, and just what we needed. The hotel staff was quick to respond to any of our needs and extremely helpful in answering questions, helping us place phone calls, and helping us arrange transportation to Heathrow. We would definitely recommend this hotel as an excellent place to stay...we couldn't have been happier.
