“very convenient location.”

this hotel location is great for getting around london but breakfast was not very hot and windows in room very drafty.

“Decent hotel for price”

Decent hotel for price and great location. The hotel I booked was overbooked adn they had to take rooms out of service but they were great and setup me up wiht a sister hotel down the street which was a Best Western. Rooms are small but you expect that in London.

“Good hotel with good location”

We stayed at the same hotel last year and everything was fine. Therefore we have chosen this hotel again. Location is very good. The room was quiet, comfortable and clean but small. I think there are no big rooms at hotels in London. :) Bathroom and water pressure was good.

Area recommendations
Train trip to Edinburgh was very funny. And you should see Camden Town Market.

“Eastern European Hospitality”

Poorly maintained hotel with a largely eastern European staff. Water faucet in our room had zero control over actual water temperature. Musty, moldy smell permeated large areas of the hotel (although not our room). Staff were accommodating to our needs, but would only do so once we asked for basic things (like the cable required for internet access). Location was actually great, but overall hotel quality was poor.

“Convenient location”

If you are looking for a reasonable hotel at a convenient location, then this would be it. The rooms are quite small and there is no fridge in the room which was a bit surprising...because it had a microwave. The elevator was very slow and too small for the number of guests staying there. This hotel however, is located very conveniently from Paddington Station (about 5-7 min. walk). Staff is friendly but not "extremely" friendly or anything.

Area recommendations
I was just in London and Birmingham for business this time. Would not recommend Birmingham at all...there is nothing there but one big shopping mall.
Getting there
Definitely get a oyster card for the subway and the bus if you're staying there for more than a few days. We got a weekly oyster card and it saved us TONS of money.

“Great location in a well conditioned hotel”

Location, location, location! This place is just one small block away from Paddington train/ subway staton, and really well communicated for reaching all the main attracctions in and outside London! Facilities are nice and in case you do not have breakfast included, there are plenty of options around Paddington station as well as a large variety of good restaurants and commercial shops in the area.

“great location”

Easy waling distance from Paddington Station. Beware the basement rooms -- they are tiny.

“Clean, but extremely small room”

The room was nice and clean, but I had to climb over the bed to get to my wardrobe. Very annoying.
