“Loved it!”

The staff were lovely. The receptionist upgraded us to a Bloomsbury room, which was small (as most London hotel rooms seem to be) but beautifully decorated and furnished. It felt very luxurious because of the fabrics and design of decor. This was in the perfect location for us - partway between Euston Station & West End, so could walk everywhere (which beats tube or taxis in London!) Came back in the evening to find the turn-down service had been and also left a platter of fruit, box of fudge and slippers. A small niggle is that there is only one vegetarian main course on the 3 evening-meal menus they offered us. Didn't have breakfast at the hotel as there are so many great breakfast spots nearby. Wish we'd stayed longer, and we will go back.

“definitely would return”

The Montague On The Gardens is on a relatively quiet street in Bloomsbury, about a minute from the British Museum, and five minutes from the Underground. The rooms are well decorated, but small. It is perfect for people who want a nice hotel, slightly away from the noise and traffic of the city.

“Great hotel - we would definitely stay there again!!!!”

The Montague was a wonderful hotel! We stayed for one week on our honeymoon and were never disappointed. The staff at this hotel is excellent - they were friendly and helpful at all times. There was a problem on our phone bill, which the desk clerk quickly corrected without question. The rooms are a bit small, but still very nice. We would certainly go back!

“Excellent in every way”

Faultless. Have stayed in many hotels of this standard and price which have been disappointing. This hotel lives up to expectations. Very confortable. Staff very attentive. Restaurant food well cooked and enjoyable.

“Boutique at it's best”

The Montague On The Garden hotel across from the British Museum was one the nicest hotels I have had the privilege to stay in quite a while. It was quaint, a touch of Old England yet modern with all the amenities of a 5 star hotel. I really appreciated the attention to detail in not only the public rooms but our personal room as well. Also the concierge gave us a great recommendation for fish and chips...the best I have eaten. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in London for a short or extended stay. I only wish I had more time there.

“Impressive, Quiet and Pleasant”

This hotel is across the street from the British Museum and a block from the Tube. As an American visiting London for the first time I was very pleased by the experience that this hotel provided. Service was good, meals were excellent and the garden was beautiful. Other than the British Museum this hotel is not really walking distance to attractions, but we found the central location good to go in any direction via cab or tube. We will be returning for another visit!

“One of London's Best”

The Montague is about as good as you can get in London. Great location and staff, comfortable (but small) rooms, delicious breakfast and dinners... you can't go wrong. Free wireless internet is always an important extra, and there were no hassles with connecting. The bar and outside terrasse are perfect for a nightcap. The Montague will remain one of our favorite hotels out of any we have stayed at in the world.

“Just wonderful and service was beyond expectations!”

The hotel was fantastic and the service was GREAT. I was in room 101 and loved the decor and felt very at home. Quiet and at the end of the hall. Not much of view of the garden but the room was so nice I didn't care. Loved the terrace bar and ate dinner there every night. Service was great and I felt looked after from start to finish. Central location and walked everywhere. Thank you Montague on the Gardens for making my trip to London extra special!

“Ideal Location In Bloomsbury”

The Montague is a high quality, low key, full service hotel. the staff is very attentive. facilities are well maintained. The public areas are cozy and there is live music in the bar a few nights per week. Only complaint was that the room was a liitle tight on space.
