“Great Hotel in a great part of town”
Wonderful hotel and staff, but if you're a guy it might take you a while to get a drink at the bar.
“Great hotel in a Great location”
I was visiting to with my daughter to celebrate her 21st birthday. I wanted a hotel with a trendy (young) feel that my daughter would enjoy but yet professional that I would not feel out of place. The Mayfair had a wonderful balance, and we loved their location within walking distance to great shopping and dining.
“Not Bad for the Location!”

“very central for celeb lookout!”
Really enjoyed our visit-very central for all the exciting places you may wish to visit. Very impressed with foyer, bars etc-only disappointment was the size of the bedroom. I did think for the money it would be a little but more spacious. But would definitely go back if visiting London.
“Wonderful service and value. Well worth it!”
A quick stay took me to the Mayfair, after arriving at about 9am after a long flight we were pleasantly surprised that our room was ready and waiting fopr us. The service was excellent, we were even escorted to our room and walked through it. The ambience was lovely, the room was modern and spotless. London hotel rooms are never large but you can't expect that in a big city. Across the rd from Green Park tube, handy to everything and handy from Heathrow. Whilst I don't normally eat at a hotel as it seems a bit narrow to do that in a big city, we had friends meet us there as it's pretty hip. We booked a table and were blown away by the fast service and lovely ambience. The hotel even allowed us a later checkout in light of our later flight and lent us an umbrella for the rain. Great value and impressive service. Would return without a doubt.
“WAS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED”
IT WAS HARD TO FIND. HAD GOOD BUS AND UNDERGROUND LOCATION. DID NOT THINK THE HOTEL WAS WORTH THE MONEY. THE ROOM COULD HAVE BEEN HAD ALITTLE MORE TO IT. THE BATHROOM WAS SMALL AND YOU HAD TO MOVE THE MAT TO OPEN THE DOOR. I KEPT BUMPING INTO IT. NO HOOKS TO HANG ROBES, NITEWARE OR TOWEL ON. THERE WERE NO DRAWS IN THE NIGHT STANDS OR IN THE BATHROOM. NO ICE BUCKET OR LUGGAGE RACK. IT JUST DIDN'T SEEM LIKE A 5 STAR HOTEL. WAS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED. THE STAFF WAS EXTREMELY NICE AND HELPFUL.
“Poor view”
We booked this hotel specifically to dine in Quince for our Anniversary. While the hotel itself met with our expectations, we were extremely disappointed to have a view of the kitchen fans which also disturbed our sleep. I was involved in an accident on arrival at LHR and not being able to rest peacefully in our room was most annoying. Lunch and Dinner in Quince was superb and we will definately be back for that. Breakfast on the other hand was nothing special and I was presented with the worst eggs benedict I have ever tasted. So glad we booked room only.
“Not satisfied”
The May Fair is being remodeled, so it has no restaurant for now. Breakfast is served either in the Ball-room or in the Bar. We had asked for connecting rooms since we were travelling with two children, but not only there were no connecting rooms available, we had to spend the first evening in different floors!
“Best place we've ever stayed”
Great hotel, great location.
“Will never stay there again”
Almost everything in this hotel is below five star standard. The bathrooms has only bath tubs that are so deep it is a struggle to get out of, while water seeps out while one showers. The TV is tiny and has very limited number of channels. The elevators are antiquated and takes a long time to arrive. The breakfast room keeps changing from day to day without warning, and quality of the food is below standard. The overall color scheme in the rooms is so pale and depressing, and there is lobby in the hotel to meet guests. I know now I will never repeat this experience.
