“Excellent atmosphere”
We stayed at the Marylebone Hotel for one night in December. The atmosphere of the hotel is very classy, modern and buzzy. The Superior room (although I believe this is actually their basic room) was lovely. A decent size with everything you need for a short stay. Very comfortable bed with good linen and pillows. The bathroom was small but perfectly formed. No bath - but generous shower. However, because of the size of the bathroom, the door, when opened, filled the whole litlle room and proved a bit of a nuisance. Service was excellent. Reception and check-in/out was very efficient. There was only one robe in the room but a second was brought within minutes of my request and there was a follow-up call to make sure we'd received it. We asked reception to store our bags upon checkout as we wanted to go shopping. All handled perfectly and we were then offered complimentary bottles of water to take with us. We had a drink in the bar - which is fine. The barmen are knowledgable. However, there was some very irritating background music of which you could only hear the repetitive bass - with the same track playing over and over. Also, I'm not sure a big screen showing darts is what I'm looking for in the bar of a 5* hotel. There are other very comfortable, beautifully furnished areas within the hotel itself to sit and have a drink, though. Would definitely return to and recommend this hotel.
“Delightful hotel in great location”
I travel frequently to London for work and decided to stay someplace new. Marylebone Hotel was perfect, very clean, nicely decorated and great service. The room was pristine and thoroughly cleaned every day. I was actually surprised at what a great job the maid did. I stay in lots of hotels and have not seen that quality of care in a long time. (And I'm not a neat freak). Overall wonderful choice and I will be returning.
“Good choice”
We stayed at The Marylebone Hotel in November 2011 for a short vacation in London. The hotel was clean and comfortable, though our room was not very large. The location was convenient. I would certainly stay at this hotel again - it was a good value.
“Hotel Marylebone”
The hotel was great at a great price.
“Lovely hotel in a nice area of London”
We really like this hotel. It is very modern and quite accomodating. Anything we asked for was taken care of. Although the basic rooms are quite small it is good for one person - I can imagine that it may be a bit tight for two people. The bed was very comfortable. It is very clean and quiet. I never once heard anyone on either side of me and I know the hotel was quite full. We look forward to returning the next time we visit London.
“Ideal for private medical treatment access”
Easy access to medical consultants, clinics, hospitals etc., Also good location for leisure activities - art exhibitions, gourmet food and shopping (esp specialist shops). Good "village" atmosphere in Marylebone and a relaxing hotel to stay.
“Good Location”
Hotel on quiet street in nice area but only a 5 - 10 minute walk away from Oxford Street and Selfridges so were very happy with the location. Room not big and bathroom tiny but was comfortable and clean and fine for our needs. Staff pleasant and on the whole helpful but didn't get the wake up call I requested which I was rather annoyed about. Didn't eat in the Hotel so cannot comment on that. Would stay at this hotel again.
“Great Hotel - Can't wait to go back”
This hotel was great. Good value for your money. The rooms were very nice and clean and comfortable. Then looked exactly as they did on the website. The staff was great and the conciege was very helpful. The location was great you are about 5 blocks from Bond Street station so you can easily get anywhere. Right next to the Bond street station is the most amazing waffle- a must try!!!! Our hotel has also recommended a supper at Gaucho's which was amazing if you like steak and they can make a reservation for you. London is a great city with so much to do and see - you definately can't go wrong with this hotel!
“Great Trip”
Fantastic Hotel and Great Location the staff were excellent and very helpful. The rooms were small but very clean and a great decour. It had loads of pubs and bars round it and was very local to the main shopping streets and soho. Would definatly recommend
“Unsatisfactory”
Location was good and hotel reception nice and modern but once we got to our room we were unimpressed as it was so small. Could hardly move in the bathroom and there wasnt even anywhere to hang a towel. Asked for twin beds and this was confirmed at reception but room was a double, had to call down to reception twice to ask them to come and seperate the beds. Thought £20 for breakfast abit steep so left early the next morning.
