Pros: Everything - nothing to not like. The atmosphere of the winter garden restaurant was wonderful - very relaxing.
Location: Next to Marylebone station. Just a tube or taxi hop away from oxford circus & london zoo.
All the staff were extremely friendly & helpful (particularly Rupert the doorman). The food and service was amazing - nothing was too much trouble. We had an executive family suite which was bright and airy with plenty of room.

Great stay...hotel was great!

Pros: Hotel had a nice "old time hotel" vibe, not cookie-cutter. Our room had two queen beds and a very large sitting area (not a suite).
Cons: Nothing really stuck out with regard to improvements outside of general wear and tear maintenance up-keep.
Location: Used Marylebone metro station and local dining places on a daily basis; was able to walk to nearby shopping areas (Regency and Oxford Streets).
Nothing bad to say about Landmark London. Hotel was great, staff was wonderful, and our room exceeded our expectations! Hotel was centrally located (right near a metro/train station) in a great area, which made getting around London very, very easy.

Cons: Just that issue re waiting to check in
Location: Great location for me as brilliant for the train and tube
Lovely staff, great location and lovely room. Only remotely negative thing I can think of is the slight wait I had to check in, but nice at the front of the queue the staff were really helpful.

Disappointed given Landnark's reputation. Arrived early evening after flying in from Switzerland. Hotel was very busy with no chance to eat at any of the hotel restaurants at any time. Staff seemed overwhelmed and/or indifferent.

Cons: Jurstér prisen på samtlige måltider, mere effektiv aircon
Location: God beliggenhed i rolige omgivelser, fin togstation lige overfor hotellet
Flot hotel, venligt personale, god beliggenhed. Morgenmad kan absolut ikke anbefales til prisen! Har man prøvet en tysk morgenmad, falder dette totalt igennem til prisen. Vi savnede at kunne åbne et vindue og få frisk luft (executive room). Gå i stedet i byen og køb måltider udenfor hotellet. AirCon magtede ikke helt at køle værelset ned, når vi var 4 pers. i rummet

Cons: queue at check out out, involved myself , there earlier, but I would certainly do something about that!
Location: so well placed for all amenities [ love shopping ]!!
lift noise annoying room 336 My daughter and I had a lovely stay, but unfortunately during the night we were awakened by the noise of the lift. do not think we are particularly light sleepers.

Tired and Overpriced--Numerous Better Alternatives

This hotel is of course quite expensive in absolute terms and the relative value for money is really not good at all. The property has a tired and worn feel. One can easily find vastly superior alternatives at significantly lower prices (we left for the Corinthia in Whitehall--a really exceptional place.) If you prefer an "older" place The Berkeley is good. On the positive side, the Landmark service is pretty good (concierge in particular was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly). The negatives: (1) room smelled like it hadn't seen fresh air this year (or longer), (2) housekeeping called to enquire about when to service the room (even though the "do not disturb" light was on, and (3)--most important--the room simply wasn't very nice at all. Bottom line: at half the price I paid, the value would be marginal at best. I am not inclined to stay at The Landmark again.
