Big hotel but dated and shabby

Posted 14-Sep-2014
Only worthwhile if you need a large room. Decor was super dated. Every little thing was charged extra, including water. Not worth the cost at all.

Posted 09-Sep-2014
Pros: Clean, friendly, comfortable.
Cons: TV control quiet difficult. Bar very expensive.
Location: Next door to rail station. Close to restaurants and shopping.
Very good but Wintergarden restaurant not up to Michelin two rosette rating. Food good but not brilliant.

Fabulous hotel -what a find!!

Posted 11-Aug-2014
Pros: Everything.. The mirror bar downstairs was great, doesn't look child friendly but exact opposite, making the children feel very welcome brilliant x
Cons: Free wi fi
Location: Right next door to Baker Street, and hyde park.
We only stayed 1night but was just gorgeous, everyone extremely friendly, the room was huge and luxurious, hotel inside beautiful, what's not to like. My daughter gave a thank you note to the staff thanking them for our gorgeous stay, only to receive a personal letter back and a little gift, was a really lovely gesture and much appreciated by my little girl who felt like a princess..will definitely be back!

Night before our wedding - amazing hotel!

Posted 09-Jun-2014 on Hotels.com
My fiancé and I stayed at The Landmark hotel on the night before our wedding day and we were so impressed. We booked two deluxe rooms and they were so spacious and the staff had done an amazing job to decorate the room for us. They also provided me with a complimentary bottle of champagne. We really couldn't have asked for more. The staff were so attentive and helped us with everything we needed. I would highly recommend a stay here!

Great hotel in the heart of Marylebone

Posted 03-Jun-2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed here as a family of 2 adults and 2 children midweek in school holidays. The hotel is located opposite Marylebone station and underground and less than 5 minute walk from Baker St tube. The hotel is also a 5 minute walk from Madame Tusauds. The hotel itself was really nice it has a lovely reception area as you walk in and it smelt very nice from the fresh flowers on display. Check-in was quick and efficient and within a few minutes we were in our room. We had a family room which very spacious with two double beds, a seating area and a really good sized bathroom. I cannot complain about anything as it was well furnished, clean, staff were polite and helpful. We did not try breakfast as we thought it was too expensive, we found a great Italian coffee shop across the road which did fabulous breakfasts and we worked out what we spent in the Italian place for the 4 of us was still cheaper than 1 breakfast in the hotel. We did however have afternoon tea in the Wintergarden this was very nice and would recommend. We also used the spa area once for the kids to swim - the kids were free to swim and for us to watch, however if we had wanted to swim aswell then it would have cost us as adults. The spa area was very nice and clean and was well equipped with a 15m pool. jacuzzi. sauna and gym. We would stay here again as we liked the hotel and the service we received.

A great deal on a mystery hotel

Posted 02-Jun-2014
Pros: Style. It is Great to see modern design being integrated with the original architecture. Space.
Location: Near St Pancras the foundling museum is very interesting with an art Gallery including Hogarths and a Handel exhibition. Regent Park and canal nearby
Decided to risk a mystery hotel via Expedia. Came up trumps. Apart from the St Pancras area being larger than we expected, resulting in a long walk. However we got a pleasant surprise when we were upgraded to a suite and a really grand one at that. Took the sting out of the prices in the bar, which was busy because of the boxing and football matches in London that night. We were asked if we would mind moving seats to allow a larger group to sit down. As a thank you are glasses were topped up and the almonds and olives replenished. Staff were efficient and pleasant, the room was very comfortable, and an excellent breakfast (not included in the mystery hotel room price) was served in the stunning Winter Garden. The renovation of this railway hotel is superb. Behind it is Marylebone Station which has retained most of its Victorian Splendour.

Wonderful hotel too short a stay

Posted 02-Jun-2014
Pros: The ambience and attentive staff
Cons: From the limited time we had everything was perfect.
We stayed one night at the Landmark as a treat for our sons birthday. We were upgraded and our son and wife had a beautiful room overlooking the Winter Garden. Our room was also very comfortable although not quite as grand. The staff were extremely attentive and made our stay very enjoyable as nothing was too much trouble. Sadly we didn't get to enjoy the leisure facilities or the restaurant but we will definitely be back.

Elegant Hotel

Posted 28-May-2014 on Hotels.com
My son and I stayed here while visiting London and would defiantly return to The Landmark Hotel. Beautiful old hotel with lovely accommodations. Elegant furnishings, top notch friendly staff and services. Perfect location right across from the Tube station. Easy walking to Baker Street and shopping destinations. We were very pleased with our stay here.
