Perfect apartment for central London

Posted 16-Sep-2014
Pros: Fabulous staff. Thanks Ainis and Toby for your help. Felt like a home with its space and facilities and of course location, location. Good cable TV.
Cons: The directions to find it must say öff Carter Lane, not by Bridge Street. My cab driver couldn't find it even with a GPS; close up map too.
Location: St Paul's Cathedral, Tate Modern, Globe Theatre, London Museum, South Bank, pubs and food - all walking distance and the Tube station and buses too.
I stayed for nine nights in a one bedroom apartment. I chose an apartment so that I could have my son and his girlfriend around as they live and work in London. It was my base for lots of sightseeing and then nights with my son or just chilling out after a big day.

Fantastic apartments

Stunning, very comfortable, stylish and roomy apartments in a brilliant part of London, nestled between St Paul's Cathedral and The River Thames, only 3 -4 minutes walk to both. Would certainly stay here again as apartments of choice, they certainly deserve their 5/5 rating !

Wonderful accommodations in a great location.

Pros: Very centrally located. Only a few blocks away from St. Paul's Cathedral! Close to tube. Very clean and supper spacious, especially by London standads
Cons: Don't know what they could possibly do about outside noise at night, but if there is, that would be my biggest preference. Internet waaay to expensive
Location: St. Paul's Cathedral is blocks away. Walking distance to Museum of London, Trafalgar Square, National Gallery. Thames. Great location.
The apartment was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. (Almost as big as our 2 bedroom at home.) We booked a one bedroom, figuring that our son could sleep on the couch, but the manager was nice enough to put us in a 2 bedroom when he noticed that there was 3 of us. I wish we had more time to spend there. Our only 2 issues were; 1 - Noise. We tried to keep our windows open over night to get some fresh air. Unfortunately, there was some worker (delivery service or something) who spent about half an hour each of the 2 nights pushing a loud metal cart down the street by our window. If we go back, I will ask for an apartment on a second floor or facing another street or something. 2 - The price of the Internet seems really outlandish. It was 12 L a day. Which came out to about $20.00 at current exchange rates. The weekly was 28 L, which, while still high, is a bit more reasonable. But since we were only there for 2 days, there was no way I would spend $40 on Internet service. Perhaps I'm spoiled by most of the hotels in the US that offer Internet for free, but still, $20.00 a day? Other than that, the hotel was perfect.
