Great location but expensive for what you get

Posted 22-Jul-2014
Pros: Location, lobby and bar
Cons: Free use of pool and leisure facility and free wifi
Location: Good shops and restaurant. Tube 2 min walk. Barclay bike hire in the same road
We informed the hotel twice that it was out honeymoon and nothing was done to make our stay special. We booked an executive room which was nicely decorated but tiny. It would have been a standard room in any other hotel in London. Although it's 2014 you still have to pay £10 per day for wifi. We wanted to use the pool but they wanted £8 per person. We again mentioned it was our honeymoon but they still wanted to charge even though there was 2 people in the whole of the leisure facility. We have never paid to use the pool in other London hotels such as the plazas. You get tiny molton brown products that we felt it's why they call the rooms executive. No mini bar or robes. Although great location I would not recommend this hotel 😞

This hotel is under-rated!

Posted 21-Jul-2014
Pros: The hotel is beautiful. This was the nicest London hotel I've ever stayed in. It really deserves a higher star-rating than what's posted.
Cons: The rooms were small but most London hotel rooms are small.
Location: We liked the location because it was close to a tube stop.
This hotel was first class! We loved it. It was close to the tube and the staff was awesome!

An enjoyable stay

Posted 21-Jul-2014
Pros: Good service and location
Cons: The rooms could be larger
Location: Near Kensington High Street which has plenty of shops and restaurants and also near an underground.
A pleasant hotel , good service and well located near the high street and the underground. Helped by very good but hot weather! Could do with bigger rooms!

Trip to Wimbledon

Posted 05-Jul-2014
Pros: Everything we used
Cons: Perhaps a small fridge for ice/cold drinks as was extremely hot whilst we were there
Location: The Muffin man tea room full breakfast for £9.50 or choice of lesser options. Côte French style restaurant very good just a short walk away
Clean room, extremely courteous and helpful staff. Very convenient for shops, restaurants close to Kensington HighSt.and two minutes walk from High St Kensington Tube. The Muffin man an excellent place to have breakfast.about 20 yards from hotel entrance. Didn't,t eat in hotel so can,t comment on dining experience. Checkin and checkout no problem. Having read some reviews was anxious about twin room size but have stayed in much smaller rooms in london for as much or more money we stayed in standard twin.

Location location location

Posted 05-Jul-2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Over the top charges
Location: We ate in a lovely Italian restaurant send the shops were great. We were heading th wimbledon so didn't see a lot more
The hotel is ideally located . Unfortunately I felt that having to pay 10pounds a day for internet access was excessive and certainly didn't match the four star rating. I also think it should be emphasised when booking that you have to pay to use the spa. Staff were courteous and efficient and I enjoyed my stay.
