Cons: You could improve the view from our room by putting some trees on the rooftop outside our room. It was a dreary view.
Good points: the room was clean and the staff was nice. Bad point: the room was so small we had no space to to open a suitcase except on the bed. The closet was too shallow and there wasn't enough floor space anywhere.

Good location, poor room size

Posted 08-Sep-2014
About the best you can say about this hotel is that the rooms have comfy beds. Because there's not a lot in the rooms but beds. Our bed occupied so much of the room that we had to climb over one another to get into it, walking around not being an option. I suspect that at some point it was decided to split decent-sized rooms into two tiny cramped rooms.

The Hotyel is very well situated

Posted 31-Aug-2014
I have been in this hotel 10 years ago the rooms have been upgraded but our room was very small, the bathroom in particular was extremely small, the bed was comfortable, for one night is fine, the hotel is much better now and the breakfast was very good, all staff was very friendly and I will return in the future.

Not with the upgrade

Posted 25-Aug-2014
No real complaints except I paid extra to upgrade to a superior room.. I don't know what I paid for as it seemed like a very standard room so a bit disappointed. Also maintenance man working on room next door very early in morning meaning the nice relaxing stay was cut short :( plus the fire alarm sounded a couple of times at about midnight - no clue as to whether is was for real - turned out to be an unnecessary very loud scare but not a drill and no communication from staff - as the stay was a treat for my 12 year old daughter I was a little disappointed if I'm honest.

Great location but expensive for what you get

Posted 22-Jul-2014
Pros: Location, lobby and bar
Cons: Free use of pool and leisure facility and free wifi
Location: Good shops and restaurant. Tube 2 min walk. Barclay bike hire in the same road
We informed the hotel twice that it was out honeymoon and nothing was done to make our stay special. We booked an executive room which was nicely decorated but tiny. It would have been a standard room in any other hotel in London. Although it's 2014 you still have to pay £10 per day for wifi. We wanted to use the pool but they wanted £8 per person. We again mentioned it was our honeymoon but they still wanted to charge even though there was 2 people in the whole of the leisure facility. We have never paid to use the pool in other London hotels such as the plazas. You get tiny molton brown products that we felt it's why they call the rooms executive. No mini bar or robes. Although great location I would not recommend this hotel 😞

This hotel is under-rated!

Posted 21-Jul-2014
Pros: The hotel is beautiful. This was the nicest London hotel I've ever stayed in. It really deserves a higher star-rating than what's posted.
Cons: The rooms were small but most London hotel rooms are small.
Location: We liked the location because it was close to a tube stop.
This hotel was first class! We loved it. It was close to the tube and the staff was awesome!

An enjoyable stay

Posted 21-Jul-2014
Pros: Good service and location
Cons: The rooms could be larger
Location: Near Kensington High Street which has plenty of shops and restaurants and also near an underground.
A pleasant hotel , good service and well located near the high street and the underground. Helped by very good but hot weather! Could do with bigger rooms!
