Disappointing at best

Posted 27-Mar-2015
Pros: The lobby is beautiful, the bar area was nice.
Cons: Don't let out rooms if you know there are going to be building works going on next door to that particular room.
Location: Nice area - a lot of places to shop and eat, and the tube is just down the street
The room was tiny, run-down, and everything in it felt and looked about 30 years old. I couldn't for the life of me get the main shower to produce water that was anything but scalding so I had to use the lower shower head (which I'm assuming is intended for people who have a disability?), which was just awkward since I'm not 3 feet tall. But the worst part, by far, was that my room was right by a staff/fire exit stairwell and they must have been doing some work in there because I was woken up by non-stop banging. The fact that the walls are paper thin also didn't do anything to improve my stay, especially when the person in the room next to me came back to their room and proceeded to be sick and the thin walls meant I could almost even hear the sick hitting the toilet. Good times.

I booked the hotel online at the last minute. I actually cancelled another hotel because I had stayed here before and really liked it. I arrived and checked in. I was told breakfast was extra so I asked them to put it on my bill. The room key cards were not working so I had to be escorted to the room. I then decided to go for a swim. When I got to the spa I was told my booking meant that I had to pay extra to use the facilities. I had no money on me so left and went back to my room. I then decided to go out to eat. When I returned I went to the bar and asked for a glass of chardonay, when the barman started pouring the wine I thought the bottle looked very expensive so asked him to tell me the price of the glass. After about 3 minutes he gave me a receipt which was for £13.80. I was shocked and told him I didnt want it as it was too expensive. I went back to my room and checked the room service menu and a normal glass of wine was about approx. £7. The dearest bottle of wine with the same name was £45 on the menu so he had obviously decided to give me the dearest wine. I had also asked for a 6.30 wake up call when I checked in. I didn't receive the call and woke up at 7.20 which made me late for the conference I was attending. The room was very small. I could hear the guest next door every time they went to the bathroom and there was a very noisy fridge in the room which kept me awake for some of the night until I eventually unplugged it.

The hotel was very clean and nice!

Posted 23-Mar-2015
Pros: I
Cons: The staff, need to learn to be more polite!
To be honest i loved how clean and beautiful the hotel was. I Loved the fact that it was close to the tube and close to everything else. The only thing i did not like was some of the staff at the hotel. Some are very nice and some are very rude. And as if them being rude and saying madam will some how make them sound a bit nicer...if it hadnt been for some of the rude staff i would have given this hotel 5/5... So please let your staff know that they are working with people and not in an office...you want your guests to feel welcomed and want to come back, change your tone. But like i said its a very beautiful and clean hotel.

Over priced

Posted 23-Mar-2015
Advertise as having a pool,it costs 8 pounds per adult to use it and 5 pounds per child,I had to swim the 3 days I was there which cost me 63 pounds and I was told I must have a swimming hat which they don't sell, had to go up to a sports shop and spend 15 pounds on 3 hats,to find that we were the only people wearing hats in the pool and time we were in it,the jacuzzi was out of order also They charge 10 pounds for wifi for 24hours for 1 device, the only hotel to date that I have stayed in that charge for wifi and the use of the pool, they might have gotten away with charging for wifi 6 or 7 years ago,but this is 2015 and London city

下町の良きホテル。

Posted 15-Mar-2015
Pros: フロント受付、ベルボーイの人たちの印象が良かったです。
Cons: エレベーターが2台有りましたが、度々1台が壊れて止まっており不便でした。
Location: High Street Kensington station
