We loved the Harrington Apartments and had a great stay. The apartment was large, spacious, beautiful and clean.The location was excellent just a short walk from Gloucester Road tube Station and we used the Piccadilly line to get in and out of Central London and perfectly located for our concert at the Royal Albert Hall which we walked back from.The staff were so friendly and welcoming and took an interest in us and could not have been more helpful. We are definitely going to go back to The Harrington Apartments on our next trip to London. Great eating options in the immediate neighbourhood. Mike and Gill Wilson December 23

Great location and felt totally safe. Staff available 24/7 and they were super friendly and helpful. Our studio was well stocked with everything a traveler would need. Our place was clean and comfortable. Staff and housekeeping exceeded expectations. Will definitely return here.

Location is a winner
Location is a winner close to eateries and underground. We had a one bedroom apartment with nice well equipped kitchen. Bedroom was on the small side but sitting room was a good size. Service was exceptional, very personable staff.

Good points. The bathroom and shower are excellent. The air con was good and easy to control. The kitchen is clean and functional. Shops restaurants nearby. Bad points. The walls are paper thin...we were in apartment room 501 on the upper level and could clearly hear the admittedly unnecessarily loud conversations from next apartment. Thankfully we dont speak arabic and mercifully there was no late evening chatter or we would have had to complain.

Location was great and staff was great. The place needs a little work. The sofa in family area is horrible and very uncomfortable to sit in. It says it had a full freezer but it did not. One of the bathrooms had a shower curtain and made it horrible to shower in because it stuck to you and it did not contain the water in the shower. The Wi-Fi was not great and gave us problems. The fact that it had AC was a bonus if your looking for that. Overall it's not a place I want to hang out in during the day but that was not what we were there for so no big deal. I just expected more for the large nightly stay and was quite disappointed.

Location was good but the unit was disappointing. Front desk staff also very rude. Not all units have laundry facilities as stated on Expedia. When we asked at the front desk, we were told that we had to walk with our washing 8 mins to do it. Then told we should have rung to check laundry facilities. We arrived back one day to find housekeeping had left our front door wide open and were nowhere to be seen. We didn’t even ask for them to make up the room - they just let themselves in. Tiny elevator. Good location but that’s about it…

Always stay at The Harrington when in London. Love that we have our own apartment for a few days, and love that we can walk up to the park quickly, and hop on the tube even more quickly.

Great location and the room had a very useful kitchen area with most things you need to be self sufficient. The front desk staff were welcoming. The room and hotel look a bit tired for furnishings and fittings and the bed wasn't comfortable. Avoid a room with a connecting door to the neighbouring room. Sound carries.

Super Room, Super Staff.. noise from next door
Apartment was lovely, staff super friendly, unfortunately my room 403 was an interconnecting room and the guest next door arrived late on the Thursday and got up very early on the Friday which meant my bedroom was lit up with their light and the hairdryer and walking around was very distracting from getting any sleep.

Perfect stay for family of 4
Our first time as a family of 4 and the apartment was perfect for us, lots of space for our 2 teenage daughters. The staff were extremely friendly, it was in an excellent location, we will definitely be returning.

Very noisy, bed creeks every time you move and bad scuff marks on the centre piece of the floor, which is the first thing you see when you enter the room. Location is good and staff are friendly. Unfortunately our stay was ruined by noise of the family sharing the same floor. Constant crying and voices heard late at night and from 0615 through to 1030 (ie, when they left the hotel). I booked based on the alleged “sound proof rooms and quietness”. We have a long journey today which has been interrupted by lack of sleep. It felt like we were sharing our room with the family and their baby. To make matters worse, the bed creeks every time you move or roll over. We feel completely shot changed, tired and annoyed. The rest of our weekend plans have now been affected by this!

I would NOT recommend The Harrington. I found the front desk staff to be unfriendly and rude. More importantly a member of cleaning staff barged into my apartment when I was in the apartment without waiting for me to answer the door. The apartment had already been cleaned earlier in the day by her so I told her it was not ok to just enter rooms without a reason especially as she didn’t even knock and wait for an answer !! She said she thought it was ok to enter the apartment as she had been in there earlier to clean ???? Really ????

Dear 'Anonymous', Thank you for your time spent on this feedback. We do appreciate it all as long as it is accurate, truthful and fair. Since we know who you are and your complaint was thoroughly investigated by checking CCTV and talking to all involved parties it makes it easier for me to respond: 1. Rude and unfriendly reception: we are serviced apartments building with 24 hour reception, which has to ensure comfort and security to all our guests. Therefore we do ask all non-registered guests, when they come in, who are they visiting and then proceed to call the apartment to inform that they have a guest downstairs and if they would like them to come to the apartment or should they wait downstairs. All receptionist did, was to ask if he may know the name of the guest they are visiting and proceeded by calling to inform you. You were very upset about your guests being stopped and accused everyone being rude by doing so, even though you were not present at the time nor have you seen any CCTV footage, which actually shows quite the opposite... 2. Cleaning lady did come back with extra towels after cleaning your room without realising that you came back in the meantime, and for that I apologise. However, the treatment she received for the mishap was not deserved. Of course, not everything always goes right and I have no problem acknowledging and apologising for it. I will stand with my Team on this one, however, since I can guarantee with 100% certainty that everyone at The Harrington are polite, courteous and always ready to go that extra mile. But don't take my word for it, vast majority of all online guest feedback gives the highest score to our Team and cleaning standards. I hope you had safe travels home. Regards, General Manager

Great place near Natural History Museum
Nice location near the Natural History Museum. Comfortable bedrooms with minimal noise from the street so made for a pleasant overnight rest. Hyde Park closest green space for kids to run around so 15 min walk. Kitchen was ample size but didn’t cook a meal. Otherwise comfortable size for a family

Very good stay. Location couldn’t have been better. Very close to the tube and shops/restaurants. Large studio was bigger than I expected from the photos, well equipped and kept scrupulously clean by housekeeping. Every single staff member that I met was pleasant and helpful. Had a small plumbing issue which was immediately dealt with. Will be back on my next visit to London.

OK, but I've stayed at better places for the price
The property was very clean overall, but two areas of kitchen could do with a deep clean - the the oven racks were grimy; and the tiny freezer compartment in the fridge was not only compacted with frost, but didn't even freeze the food anymore, meaning that what we stored in it melted. Apart from that, the rest of the room was good. The bed was very comfortable and I would book again if I only needed it for a night or two and the price was lower than the place at which I usually choose to stay.

Spacious comfortable apartments. Hotel staff were super helpful and accommodating. Great location too- near to tube and lots of restaurants nearby. Apartments were equipped excellently though personally I would have liked to have a frying pan and coffee pot! Would definitely recommend and will stay again
