Wonderful property with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Great atmosphere, as well. We really enjoyed the 1862 Booking Office restaurant, especially at breakfast. Very well worth it!

Very nice cocktails in the bar and friendly staff. Only issue was no one said about tapping the room card in the lift to go to upper floors as never had to do that before

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Great service, staff at St Pancras Renaniance friendly, attentive and accommodating. The restaurant the Booking Office is just wonderful great ambience and decor, notbtonmentuon rhe food. Gym is state of the art. Spa looks great unfortunately only used the swimming pool and gym.

Absolutely ideal location for arrival into St Pancras with under cover walk through the station. A taxi to Stratford for the ABBA Voyage concert and return made the whole trip most enjoyable. Lunch and breakfast options were very nice

The hotel is stunning from the outside, bar and restaurant. The spa is small but atmospheric. Unfortunately the rooms are very average and be warned the photos on the website of the rooms are not accurate. Staff are friendly and helpful.

We generally give generous marks for most stays, but this was our biggest disappointment in decades of travel. The site shows a radically different view of the interior rooms; the interior rooms are two star quality, the hall carpets were dirty throughout. While having a drink in the bar, we saw a mouse. When we let our server know, and he told us they get them all the time. It’s a beautiful building that any person would like to stay in if they could afford it. I would suggest that they pass the on the stay, find a nice boutique hotel, save money, and just take a selfie from the outside! The ONLY plus of this hotel is its location to transportation.

Brilliant Nostalgic Hotel
Very beautiful nostalgic Hotel with lovely atmosphere. Check in was brilliant, we could already occupy our room at 10.30 am, thanks to very friendly ..?.(see picture)! Restaurant very impressive with excellent food and brilliant breakfast. Pool very exotic with lovely warm water and very clean.

The hotel is amazing. Although the room was vey comfortable and spacious, our entire view was that of roof tiles. This was a little disappointing. Couldn’t fault any thing else though, breakfast was great

Old world charm at a convenient location.
Conveniently situated next to Kingscross Station, this hotel oozes old world charm. The check in is in an ornate room, as are the dining rooms & restaurants. The breakfast in the morning was excellent! The room was warm & clean but was not as well appointed as the rest of the hotel. Overall it was a wonderful stay.

Located at the train-tube hub of Kings Cross, the restored hotel is an icon of Victorian England, updated with the best of well appointed amenities and decorated with artisan brilliance. While we had a bit of a shaky start, the hotel more than made up for it, providing a most memorable stay in London.

Good sized room with comfortable beds. A nice hotel. Our room was next door to the linen room and there were loud noises and bangs in the wall which jarred against and moved the bed head.

Our chief reason for choosing the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel is its location - being within St Pancras station itself makes it spectacularly convenient if connecting to trains from there, most notably the Eurostar. The Hotel itself is well appointed, with a good range of breakfast available. On this occasion we also enjoyed Tea with very acceptable Scones with Jam & Cream in the cafe area opposite reception. Overall, we would certainly use the hotel again if connecting onto transport from St Pancras.

The service was terrible. I shelled out a lot of money to stay in this expensive hotel with my daughter, and it was such a waste. When I checked in, I was told my bags would be sent directly to my room (I wasn't even asked about this or given the option to take my bags myself, which we could easily have done), but they never came even after repeated enquiries. I finally went down after about an hour and got them myself. The spa was too crowded and we were told not to use the lockers as they were full. The water in the shower in the evening was lukewarm and not hot, so we couldn't even enjoy a hot shower at night before bed. When I checked out, nobody came to help me with my bags until I was out of the hotel and my Uber driver had arrived and he could help put my bag in the trunk. It was only then that someone from the hotel came up to me to offer help with my bag (obviously hoping for a tip), but by then, I was so disappointed that I told him not to bother. Overall, it was a lousy stay. I feel so cheated.

Don't get me wrong, the St. Pancras hotel is beautiful and we had a lovely time there. It is upscale, clean, and conveniently located next to King's Cross / St. Pancras stations. The staff service left much to be desired, however. As an example, on our last day we asked for our luggage to be held for a few hours, an otherwise common request than much lesser establishment offer by default. The front desk at first said "there is no space." (This is a gigantic hotel with whole empty floors.) Then that holding our bags would be a "security issue." (A security issue which would magically go away if we had an upcoming reservation and we were planning to return.) Even when we politely explained that we would miss our train if we had to find alternative luggage storage, as indeed we did miss our train, the hotel remained inflexible. This profound lack of hospitality renders this no longer the lovely five-star hotel I had in my memories. (We had stayed there several times before.) I will be looking for establishments in which thousands of pounds actually translate to high-quality hospitality in the future.

This iconic hotel was the starting and endpoint for a vacation I took with a friend by rail. Everyone at the hotel made us feel welcome from the Prosecco at check-in to the luxurious beds we slept in at night. Highly recommend and will stay there again soon!

A Few Mishaps Handled Perfectly
The staff are amazing at this hotel! When we had problems with our room key, they went above and beyond to rectify it. My husband and I had treatments in the spa and it was exactly what we needed. Additionally, we accidentally left our passports in our room safe and the staff were so helpful keeping them overnight until we could collect them. Highly recommend this hotel.
