“Excellent hotel”
very large quiet room, comfortable bed, good fun restaurants inside hotel, easy check in, welcoming service, nice lobby, very restfull night stay betwen flights pretty loby will stay again. thanks to other expedia travellers opinions that help me in choosing hotels
“Excellent hotel”
Room, location and staff were great; I'd stay at the same hotel again.
“Tired”
The hotel and its room was showing signs of cost cutting - lower powered lamps in the rooms, hot water not really hot and a general feeling of tiredness about it. Porters were very helpful though.
“superb hotel in every way”
i have to say phillipe on the concierge desk was simply superb when i got totally lost and he led me in by phone over about a 15 minute period. i was met with a cheery smile and immediate help with my luggage. it is such a pleasure being able to bring my dog which made my meeting of my husband the following morning even more special.
“A Refreshing Relief”
After traveling all over Europe including Poland and staying in different hotels which have smaller rooms than I am use to, it was a refreshing relief to stay at the Sheraton Skyline at Heathrow. We had traveled all day from Paris and were very tired. When we opened the door and saw the nice comfortable room and king size bed we couldn't believe our eyes. Not that the other hotels were not worth staying at, they were very clean and good service, it is just the Sheraton was what we are use to. This allowed a three night stay while still touring London and getting ready for our flight back to the US.
“Good choice near LHR”
The combination of convenience to LHR and price make this hotel hard to beatl.
“Perfect for one-day layovers!”
This is a wonderful hotel. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and well maintained. A friend of mine came to visit me in the evening and they even waived her parking fee. It is a 5-10 minute ride from Heathrow to the hotel on the Hotel Hopper bus (7 pounds round trip), which picks up and drops off right at the hotel front door. Very convenient and comfortable stay if you have a quick layover.
“Quiet, Comfortable & value for money especially with parking included”
We stayed here for one night prior to our flight from Heathrow. The check in service was very efficient and the staff were very helpful. Our room had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is very well located for the airport and very quiet. We parked our car at the hotel for 14 nights, we didn't need to leave the keys with reception whilst we were away. The car was perfectly safe and much cheaper than using the long stay airport parking. We got a taxi to the airport, the hotel appear to run their own taxi service and cost £10 which was well worth it. It only took about 10 minutes to get to the terminal and was completely hassle free. On the way back we got the bus from the heathrow terminal to the airport, the bus runs every 30 minutes and the journey takes about 20 minutes to the hotel. The cost was £4 per person one way. This hotel was good value for the money with very good service. Would definitely use again.
“Good choice for near airport stays.”
Big room, comfortable bed, nice restaurants. Staff was very professional and friendly.
“Very Quality Hotel”
Went for a trip to see some friends in London and Watford. So I choose a package that included the Sheraton Skyline hotel. The hotel itself is very clean with a Starbucks in the lobby and a Sportsbar and more Fancy Restaurant. The prices are a bit expensive for the quantity but nothing dull. The room had a comfortable bed and around 26 channels. The bathtub is a bit elevated making anyone with a 6 foot height feel a bit like a giant, and the shower curtain is short so water might escape. The staff itself was curtious and kind, and even sent a complementary bottle of wine although I think it was a average price type of wine but not sure. You can easily hear loud noises, but not so much as medium so sound is not that much of a issue. You will occasionally hear a plane fly over the hotel but at a small sound. There are some buses near Terminal 1, which will take you for free to your destination. On my leave from the hotel I took a free bus back to the airport but this was away from the hotel because there is a shuttle which wants you to pay a few pounds for the short trip. They do have a cash machine, however when I used my debit card it was error, so I am not sure it will work there but you can use your bank card at the airport to get some money. Overall its a decent price for a good hotel that will be kind to you.
