“bad hotel”
I stayed in a single room for two nights. Accomodation was just like student digs. Depressing and badly maintained. Standard of cleanliness is poor. The first room I stayed in had a dirty floor that looked like it hadn't been hovered for days. Asked for the room to be changed. The second room was only a little better. The shower was encrusted with limescale. The bed was uncomfortable and to top it all off, I was woken by housekeeping at 8am! The worst hotel experience I have had. The only good thing is proximity to the station.
“Work in progress”
I stayed at this hotel as a last minute business booking-- for reasonable price and good location, next to Paddington and decent restaurants. Half of the hotel appears to be under renovation, and the corridors stank of paint and varnish. The heating in the room did not work-- on a particularly cold day. the rooms are not depressing, but not cheery either. Despite providing a credit card for incidentals, room service demanded to charge for room service on the spot with a credit card machine-- never seen this before. Room service food was edible, but hugely overpriced. Two of the staff were extremely friendly, while two were rude beyond belief. Unless you're on the first floor, order to get to one's room one has to navigate a warren of steps and stairs before getting to a minuscule lift. On checkout the staff offered to compensate for the lack of heating, but only against a future stay. If pressed, this isn't a horrible place to stay, but there are much better deals out there.
“Well worth staying at!”
I went to the Olympia conference centre so I needed something within walking distance but not too expensive. I was very happy with the my room and the location of the hotel, with local amenities close by. I would chose it again for my next visit at Olympia. Convenient and hassle-free.
“Great location, very small room.”
Great location, very convenient to Tube, museums and Kensington attractions generally. Very small hotel room. Great that wifi is available for free.

“Not a 4 Star rating Hotel.”
Its unfortunate that this hotel is not a 4 star Rating because the Staff are fantastic and very accomadating, however, the bedding is extremely uncomfortable. Mattresses really need to be changed. The first night we arrived they gave us 2 single beds when we requested a double room. To be honest this was not a big deal, however the bedding was so uncomfortable that we did not sleep at all. we complained the next morning and the staff were more than happy to change our room with an upgrade and complimentary breakfast which was so nice of them. However the beds were still very uncomfortable. Everything else was fine. Location not quite in the heart of things. Hotel is situated in South Kensington. Close to Hop on Hop off bus stop so that helps to get you into city centre. Free wifi was offered which is great, since alot of hotels make you pay for internet.
“it was clean but the staff service wasnt great”
We enjoyed the hotel, it was clean and comfy however the service wasn't very good and I was overcharged for my room service meal and had to pull them up on it. Also our mini bar wasn't stocked. Bit disappointed
“Ideally located”
Within a few yards of Gloucester Road Tube station entrance, this hotel was ideally situated for a stay in the Knightsbridge area. The Hotel is on the main Cromwell Road, so expect to hear a some traffic noise from a city that rarely sleeps. The hotel has an impressive facade, and on entering I was greeted by very friendly staff who quickly checked me in and pointed me to my room (I didn't need assistance). The room was clean and tidy, smaller than expected for a double, but big enough. The decor was modern, everything worked as it should and although I only stayed one night, I would have been more than happy to have stayed many more.
“Nice hotel, great location”
The concierge was VERY helpful when I had laptop issues.
“Convenient place to Stay”
I stayed at this hotel during the first weekend in October 2011. The check in process was quick and very friendly. The room was very clean and actually a bit larger than I had expected. The bathroom was nicely appointed and the shower worked well. My room faced Glouchester Road which is very busy and can be quite loud. With the window closed the noise was not really an issue. The hotel included a restaurant and a bar, although I didn't use either one. The only negative for me was that it had been very hot in London for the time of year and room was still a little too warm. The climate control in the room was more of a fan and not an air conditioner. The location was just around the corner from the underground and this makes the hotel very well suited to get around to other areas of London.
