Dining

Nova Bar and Grill - Wenge wood walls and tables and hand-carved statues from India give a subtle Eastern feel to this 80-seat bar/restaurant. The glass bar, with its large frosted floral designs, provides a striking modern focal point. Brown-leather chairs are by Poltrona Frau, the Italian leather designers behind the interior of Ferrari cars. The restaurant-bar serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is also popular for its cocktails and has a number of house specialties, including the Chocolate Martini.

“This was a little gem!”

This hotel was a little gem and so close to Oxford St and Marble Arch without the noise and carry on. Lovely room and everything you could want.

“Comfortably situated at Oxford Street”

This hotel is comfortably situated near Oxford Street, which makes it convenient to reach eateries of different cuisines and varied shopping stops. Considering the Radisson tag,it is well priced. What it lacks in fancy positioning, it makes up with a hospitable and friendly staff, that is eager to please you and cater to your needs. Housekeeping is prompt in responding to your requests and the bar-restaurant on the ground floor is a meeting point after a whole day of business meetings or after the weary tourist is done with his sightseeing. My stay was brief yet pleasant.

“Great Location”

Great location between Marble Arch and Bond St Tube stations. Quick walk. Very close to shopping and Oxford St is great. Hotel was good for the price. Single twin room was small (as expected), but was well appointed. Bathroom was tiny and no bar soap provided (only liquid). But again, provided the essentials. The location of my room within the hotel was off a door in the staircase. Not at all with other rooms and not comforting as a young woman traveling alone. This was the worst part of the hotel. Be sure to get a room on the main hallway. I liked the alert system on the TV (it told me the restaurant would be busy for breakfast and to book early) but I couldn't figure out how to turn it off. It beeped for nearly 2 hours. Room was overall comfortable and clean and I would stay again, especially for the price in this location.

“Small rooms but superb location”

The Edwardian Sussex does have small rooms, but it's location (one block off Oxford St, near Marble Arch) is hard to beat. Recommended - especially if you can get the Expedia rate and not the rack rate.

Family-friendly activities
Hyde Park.
Comment from the hotel's management
Thank you for your comments. We do have a handful of rooms that are small however, our Double and Deluxe rooms are of a decent size and you may upgrade for a small supplement. We hope to see you again soon and have the opportunity to allocate you a larger room on your next stay.

“Credit you the wonderful staffs @ Radisson Edwardian Sussex”

+ Superbly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and professional staffs. + Very convenient location (especially for shopping oriented trips, located at the end of Oxford St. shopping stretch). + Booked the Deluxe room; very clean (I'm allergic to dust, so I know when the room is not really clean), well decorated, very well equipped (amenities, Internet, kettle, pants press, iron, B&O TV), living space is decent. - The only problem is that there was the slightest gap on the window (window can still be securely locked) that lets the wind into the room making it a little cold (we went during January winter), however problem was rectified on the next day without even being requested by us. - We had a chance to compare with the cheaper room and it turned out there is very little different in size and amenities between them. Really satisfied overall. Will definitely be our first priority for accommodation the next time we visit London. (But maybe we'll be taking the cheapest room the next time around.) Excellent value for money.

Comment from the hotel's management
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback and the wonderful comments regarding our staff. I am glad the gap in the window was fixed during your stay. We are very proud of the hygiene and cleanliness of our rooms, it is therefore reassuring to learn that you found your room to be very clean. I look forward to welcoming you again on your next visit to London.

“Small room but clean and affordable”

The room is really small. The bathroom is outside the rooms but within the space. The bathroom is not heated so I had to run the shower with the hot water on to heat the bathroom. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was good. great location close to Oxford street and shoppings.

Comment from the hotel's management
Thank you for your valuable comments. All our bathrooms are fitted with heating rails, I am sorry if the heating in your room was not working at the time. I am encouraged by your comment regarding our staff and will take pride in sharing it with them. I hope that we will have the opportunity to serve you again soon.

“Rooms are small”

The location of the hotel is great, 1 min walk to Oxford Street and on the bus route to everywhere. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff was very friendly. the only draw back is that the rooms are smaller than expected, however considering the location it was not that bad.

Traveller's tip
There is a great bar on Quebec Street, just 2 minz walk from the hotel. If you want to rewind after a long day that is the place to go. Prices in the bar are reasonable
