“This was a little gem!”
This hotel was a little gem and so close to Oxford St and Marble Arch without the noise and carry on. Lovely room and everything you could want.
“nice hotel great location for shopping”
friendly staff, easy to get to and nice decor.
“Comfortably situated at Oxford Street”
This hotel is comfortably situated near Oxford Street, which makes it convenient to reach eateries of different cuisines and varied shopping stops. Considering the Radisson tag,it is well priced. What it lacks in fancy positioning, it makes up with a hospitable and friendly staff, that is eager to please you and cater to your needs. Housekeeping is prompt in responding to your requests and the bar-restaurant on the ground floor is a meeting point after a whole day of business meetings or after the weary tourist is done with his sightseeing. My stay was brief yet pleasant.
“Will go back.”
Staff were excellent, very helpful. Hotel was great and in a good location. Service in the bar was good. The ambiance was great. Intend to stay there again.
“Great Location”
Great location between Marble Arch and Bond St Tube stations. Quick walk. Very close to shopping and Oxford St is great. Hotel was good for the price. Single twin room was small (as expected), but was well appointed. Bathroom was tiny and no bar soap provided (only liquid). But again, provided the essentials. The location of my room within the hotel was off a door in the staircase. Not at all with other rooms and not comforting as a young woman traveling alone. This was the worst part of the hotel. Be sure to get a room on the main hallway. I liked the alert system on the TV (it told me the restaurant would be busy for breakfast and to book early) but I couldn't figure out how to turn it off. It beeped for nearly 2 hours. Room was overall comfortable and clean and I would stay again, especially for the price in this location.
“Small rooms but superb location”
The Edwardian Sussex does have small rooms, but it's location (one block off Oxford St, near Marble Arch) is hard to beat. Recommended - especially if you can get the Expedia rate and not the rack rate.
“i would certainly go back”
i recommend radisson sussex hotel for its great location ,confortable rooms and good service.
“Credit you the wonderful staffs @ Radisson Edwardian Sussex”
+ Superbly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and professional staffs. + Very convenient location (especially for shopping oriented trips, located at the end of Oxford St. shopping stretch). + Booked the Deluxe room; very clean (I'm allergic to dust, so I know when the room is not really clean), well decorated, very well equipped (amenities, Internet, kettle, pants press, iron, B&O TV), living space is decent. - The only problem is that there was the slightest gap on the window (window can still be securely locked) that lets the wind into the room making it a little cold (we went during January winter), however problem was rectified on the next day without even being requested by us. - We had a chance to compare with the cheaper room and it turned out there is very little different in size and amenities between them. Really satisfied overall. Will definitely be our first priority for accommodation the next time we visit London. (But maybe we'll be taking the cheapest room the next time around.) Excellent value for money.
“Small room but clean and affordable”
The room is really small. The bathroom is outside the rooms but within the space. The bathroom is not heated so I had to run the shower with the hot water on to heat the bathroom. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was good. great location close to Oxford street and shoppings.
“Rooms are small”
The location of the hotel is great, 1 min walk to Oxford Street and on the bus route to everywhere. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff was very friendly. the only draw back is that the rooms are smaller than expected, however considering the location it was not that bad.
