“Best hotel I've stayed in near Canary Wharf.”

Always brilliant. Amazing view. Big luxurious rooms. Upgrade to deluxe if you can!

“All mod cons in Canary Wharf”

A smart and stylish hotel in an unusual location, but ideal if you are on business in the Canary Wharf/Excel/O2 area. Friendly staff liven up an otherwise rather soulless atmosphere.

“Good location for the O2”

Impressive hotel. The room was clean and spacious with shower and bath. Location was good for visiting the O2 but a bit far out if you need central London. Breakfast was good but not value for money. Only down side was car parking. It is operated via a valet parking system and when we checked out Sunday morning it was very busy and had to wait 30 mins to get our car returned. Otherwise excellent stay.

“Great for a night out at The Gun”

Very convenient for a night out at the fantastic Gun. Shame that there was no mention of the £12 car parking charge however...

“Great hotel in convenient - Outstanding breakfast”

The Radisson is located in Canary Wharf. The hotel is located near the River Thames, in the Docklands area. Overall, there is a very serene feel to this place, which is quite impressive given that the city is literally minutes from there by train. The hotel is located near Poplar tube station; however, I would recommend to use the nearby Canary Wharf tube station (much more impressive). There are no notable restaurants immediately nearby, but again, Canary Wharf is a short stroll away and is bustling with many dining/bar venues. The room in itself was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The view was neutral, but you could see the River on the right. I know I wasn't looking for any particular vista, your take might be different. Last but not least: the breakfast was outstanding in quality and diversity of offerings. It was all there from pastries to eggs, toasts, fruits, dairy products, dried fruits all the way to an assortment of smoke fish. We really enjoyed the impeccable service and staff courtesy throughout. I travel a lot in the US and would compare this hotel to a large Resort Sheraton or Hilton. Overall, unbeatable value, highly recommended.

Getting around
Use the Canary Wharf station instead of the Poplar one once you're set in. The latter is too suburban; the former is exceptional in many respects: size, design and surroundings.

“A 5-star 4-star hotel !”

I would certainly go back when next in London. Glad to recommend to friends. A 4-star hotel but carries like a 5-star

“Not conveniently located in Canary Wharf”

The hotel is a modern-style, located in an area of private condominiums. It's not very conveniently located in canary wharf area. To my surprise, though it's new, the air conditioning in the room (6th floor) didn't work on my first day, and I complaint and was told there was no maintenance during the night, and the hotel was fully booked, so I can't change my room. I was instructed to open the tidy window in the room to ventilate (it was extremelynoise outside, as the hotel is close to a major highway). The temp in room was 26 degree!!! On the 2nd day morning, I talked with the reception, and there's no record to repair the air-con. And I had to remind the staffs to take care of the air-con, as we would be back to hotel late at night. It seems they did something to the aircon, now the temp went down to 24.5 degree, but still felt hot during summer time... I was on floor six for two nights. Very disappointed with the air-con in the hotel.

Area recommendations
Need at least 15 min walk to central canary wharf (or canary wharf tube station). If it's your first time in canary wharf, it might take some time to get there on foot. The nearest DLR stations are Blackwell, but you need to go through a tunnel or walk around the intersection to find the way to the station, and it's also not recommended by the staffs. Then the second nearest DLR station is East India, which needs 10 min walk. DLR is not very conveniently connected to tube system, in towngate (tower of london), or bank station. You can transfer to central or district lines of tube, but in weekends, some part of both lines might have partial construction, which causes trouble. The most convenient tube line I feel (I visited London five times, and mostly stay in west and central London) is piccadilly and jubilee line. So I will definitely choose hotel close to those lines next time.

“Not to bad”

Bed was very un-comfortable other than that the room was immaculate.

“Nice hotel a bit off”

The hotel was good for visiting Canary Wharf for business, only drawback was a little too long walk to get into the business area of Canry Wharf.
