“Acceptable”
CONVENIENTLY SITUATED BUT NOTHING TO WRITE HOME ABOUT AND OVERPRICED.
“Disappointed”
Having paid quite a lot of money for two nights at this hotel, the room was really small, the staff were not friendly or helpful. The only thing good about this hotel was its location! This is a 4 star hotel that felt more like a 2 star....
“Great location but average everything else.”
OK service
“Overpriced decent hotel”
Pros: The hotel is clean and most staff members are courteous. The location is right in the center of the shopping district, between Oxford Circus and Bond Street underground. Cons: (1) The front desk staff don't seem to know how to operate their booking and billing system. They got confused about my reservation and could not get my bill right!! (2) Elevator is too small.(3) Price is too high for the quality, amenity and service of the staff.
“location, location, location!”
Old building with new interiors, comfortable rooms, almost non-existant lobby - the best part of this hotel is location, very convenient access to most of London.
“Just A very nice Family hotel”
the staff are really grate every one is so helpfull and love to help and very frendly .i really recomment this hotel i have been there so many time and i will go back again
“Excellent hotel. I will go back again and again.”
This is right next to Debenhams on Oxford Street. It's a small, efficiently organised hotel with attentive staff and a friendly atmosphere. The breakfast was exceptional, as was the afternoon tea. We were greeted with a complimentary easter egg and when they found out it was my Mother's birthday, they sent up a chilled bottle of wine, courtesty of the Hotel - Wonderful! I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying there again.
“This hotel is ideal for my requirements”
The previous time I stayed at the hotel there were a few things which I felt needed attention in the room, e.g. handles in the shower/bath for older people to use. I brought this and one or two other matters to the hotel's attention while I was there at that time and this time I found that all my requests had been attended to. I now find this hotel ideal for my requirements. So I shall continue using this hotel whenever I am in London.
“Perfect location, not much else.”
I was asked if I wanted to upgrade my room at check-in, I said no and would expect that to be the end of that conversation. Unfortunately it wasn't, a number of points about the size and convenience of the room were made, to the point where I decided maybe I needed to see the room first. Complete waste of time, room was fine. Bathroom only had very basic appointments i.e. one towel, no hand towel, no ammenities. Good breakfast buffet, and it is in the perfect location for London, on Oxford Street right across the road from Bond Street tube station.
“It was a disaster for me!!!!”
I have explained as above.
