Tiny room, huge price

Posted 28-May-2015
It was clean. Bathroom and bedroom were tiny for the cost and the reception staff very surly. Much better value for money in a Travel Lodge for half the price

Good Location

Posted 26-May-2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Updated interior
Location: Only reason to stay here is proximity to Heathrow
Stayed here for one night after arriving at Heathrow late and night, and before catching flight out of Heathrow in the morning. The hotel was perfect for the requirements. Easy to get to from the airport - took Bus 423 from terminal 5 for free since it mostly takes workers to Hounslow. Bus trip took about 15 minutes. If you prefer a taxi, 12 pound flat fee, or there is a hotel bus from the airport for 5 pounds. Hotel is definitely dated, but clean and sufficiently comfortable.

Front desk reception staff very rude when you book from expedia double room they will tell you all double rooms are full we can give you twin room. Unless if we are paying for an upgrade cost whish is 35£ per night

Disappointing - will not stay here again.

Pros: Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts ever.
This is a very large hotel and when I came to leave, I realised that the lift nearest my room was out of order. Instead of giving directions on how to get to the other lifts, guests were instead directed to stairs. The message did say that you could call for assistance with your baggage - but it was also likely that you might have had to wait some time for that. Lugging suitcases down from the 4th to the ground floor was not fun. Check- in was slow - there appeared to be only two clerks checking people in although several more staff were behind the desk. The room was very hot (23.5) when I finally got there and although I adjusted the thermostat to make it cooler (19) and it registered as 19, it didn't lower the actual temperature.

From start to finish .....

Posted 19-May-2015
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Location: It was so convenient as we stayed overnight, had dinner and an early call with breakfast delivered to our room before catching a flight to Dublin.
From the start of booking our accommodation with Charlotte to leaving at the end of our stay, it was an absolute pleasure. Didn't want to leave but we will be back again.

Great value

Elevator not working. Airport shuttle not free. Great nearby pub called the Pheasant. Very close to Avis/Budget rental car drop off. A good hotel if you need to overnight close to Airport.

Huge hotel, total chaos and disorder in the hotel lobby immediately upon entering (people and luggage everywhere). Room was fine - clean and relatively comfortable. Dinner was nice, but breakfast was understaffed and the restaurant was a mess and we could hardly find a table. It wasn't the worst hotel stay, but certainly not the best.

Cons: Small, dull rooms
Disappointing but probably not much worse than any of the other 'airport' hotels. Lift was out of order and had to drag 3 cases (no porter service offered) through what felt like miles of corridor...
