I only stayed for one night, but I wish I could have stayed longer... The hotel is well situated, close to the 401. The room was large, kitchen was fully equipped and more than adequate to cook most meals, bed was really comfortable, bathroom was spotless, shower pressure was great, and the room had ample closet/drawer space to hang/store clothes. The fitness area was small, but the equipment was top notch. The complimentary breakfast was quite good (except the bacon), the dining area was quite large and the complimentary newspaper was a nice touch. Also, if you wish to do groceries and cook your own meals, a bonus is that Farm Boy is about a 1km away. Parking spots are plentiful and free. I didn't take advantage of their complimentary dinner (offered Mon-Thurs), or swimming pool, basketball court or putting green, but I will definitely do so on my next stay!
I recently had a terrible experience with a hotel in Orillia that I booked online so was a bit hesitant but boy oh boy did this stay renew my faith in online hotel booking.
I was a later check -in and there were only 4 rooms left but if my room was any indication of what this location has to offer I would have been happy no matter where they put me.
The Lady at the front desk was lovely, but informed me there was a convention staying at the hotel but one would never have known it was very quiet and I slept like a log, the room furniture was a bit dated but not solid or worn, the room itself was a Junior King Suite and was very clean, large and offered everything you would need for a comfortable extended or short stay.
I will be returning to this location again in the future and would highly recommend this been for a comfortable stay.
The staff ever so friendly, willing to help with anything I needed and the room was very clean. Very happy with the service. The only thing I would change is the time for breakfast. It's too early and ends at 9:30am. When you want to sleep in you miss breakfast.
I had never stayed at a Quality Hotel before and was pleasantly surprised. Our arrival went quickly and the desk staff were extremely pleasant, helpful and welcoming. They answered all of my questions about Woodstock and were very well informed.
The room was spotless, had plenty of towels and the mattress (very important to us) was extremely comfortable. Both beds had 4 pillows, which is rare. The amenities were plentiful. The complimentary buffet breakfast was good and the coffee was exceptionally good.
I will definitely return and will try other Quality Hotels.
