“Clean and presentable”

I haave stayed at this hotel a few times now - the staff are in the main friendly and willing to help. The fitness suite it small and only fit for function but th rooms are of a very high standand. Its just a pity that they fail to get the bookings correct (eg twin room when you booked a double) and the last 2 times I've stayed there the air-con in the room has not been working correctly - which for the money, is far from acceptable. That aside - it's a nice, well placed hotel - just make sure you tell them if you are not happy with anything...

“Nice Surprise”

We booked this as a secret saver, and we know that pictures don't always tell the story but this was very nice, staff were excellent and most helpful, location terrific and room very clean,appealing and comfortable.

“Nice Hotel on the Thames”

A great place to stay that is convenient to the tube and bus routes that can get you to Trafalger Square in ten minutes of less. Hotel staff extremely helpful and courteous; breakfast was a great way to start each day.

Area recommendations
Stay close enough to major attractions like Trafalger Square, Westminster Abbey, Parliment, to be able to walk or jump on the double decker buses and get around. Learn the bus routes/tube routes and buy one day travel cards to enable you to get anyplace in the city as the buses run about every 6 to 10 minutes.
Shopping
Portabello Road Market and Oxford Street are absolute musts. Also, try to get to the Borough Market to see a wide variety of local items for sale.
Nightlife
Go to at least one show or play. We saw Stomp the first night we were in London, and the energy from the show just seemed to get us moving and fired up for the next couple of days.

“Great deal! But get an upgrade to have a nice view!”

The staff ´s very polite, the restaurante is excellent. But if you take a room on the back of the building, you´ll see a train line. On the other hand, if you pay a little bit more, you can have an upgrade to a room with an amazing viem of the parliament, Big Ben and London Eye. It worths a try!

“Very good south-central London hotel”

Very clean, modern hotel. Good location, one mile from Big Ben. Top-notch breakfast buffet. Watch your folio. I was overcharged, as was another in my group in another room.

“Great place from which to exploreLondon”

We began our honeymoon at this hotel, and were very impressed. The service was outstanding and the staff was very friendly. Our room was modern, clean and comfortable. Our view of the Thames, Big Ben and Parliment was truly breathtaking. We would enjoy returning there someday.

“Don”

Nice surprise. Within walking distance to Westminster Abb, Big Ben, etc. Not the typical old creaky London hotel.

“On the RIVER in London”

Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Incredible staff. Steps from taxis,bus and a small grocery store for treats. Smoking section in front of hotel, facing the river. Great room service and a window that opened. One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. Computer access and a divine, enormous bathroom. Awesome. We could see Bid Ben from our room.
