“West London Stay”
Easy location - booked hotel for staying on after Christmas works do. Easy check in and checkout - no long queues. Room clean and tidy comfortable bed - room a little hot. But apart from that no complaints.
“mixed reviews...”
The Novotel West in London is conveniently located just a short walk from the Picadilly line stop, Hammersmith. Makes getting around town very easy, also has a bus stop right in front of hotel. Our room was ok, but a long walk from the elevator/lift. It lacked a dresser with drawers, which for us (three women) was quite inconvenient and the entire hotel seems to be devoid of such a basic amenity, according to the hotel employee with whom I spoke. The layout of the room was cramped. For the right price, I would stay again, but would be interested to see what else might be available at a similar price.
“First one”
Excellent service but heating in room didn't work properly....
“good location out of london husle & bustle”
good variety for breakfast, close to bus and train stations, staff very helpful.
“Edyta”
Excellent. Good value for money.

“A quick walk to Craven Cottage”
As a first timer in London (who only came over for the Fulham FC game) i couldn't have picked a better hotel for what I needed. The rooms were clean and comfortable, it was a 25 min walk along the Thames from Craven Cottage, and just a block from the Picadilly Line if you wanted to do some other sorts of sight-seeing. Overall, I was extremely happy with my choices in hotels.
“Surprisingly Bad Experience”
I stayed 13 nights. Bed was extremely firm (too firm--and I prefer firm beds), pillows were of the poorest quality. Walls were somewhat thin, so depending on the guest, you might hear conversations through the wall. No dresser to unpack your suitcase into. No comp wi-fi. Breakfast was outrageously expensive, if you included it in the price of the room.
“stay was just ok”
room keys kept not working and had to go down to desk.
“Not as good as we expected”
The TV didn't work when we arrived and we informed reception of the problem. A repair man did arrive promptly, but despite replacing several parts, when we returned to our room that evening the TV only worked for about 15 minutes before it completely died. This was very frustrating as we were checking out the next day. There was also a strange smell coming from the bathroom which we identified as being due to some kind of blockage in the pipe. When we asked for some warm milk for our children's hot chocolate we were charged. We were surprised at this as we have never been charged at other Novotels we have stayed at.
