“Great hotel for visiting London”

This hotel was perfect for us . I stayed there with my two teenage daughters . Room was modern , clean and comfortable . If you are someone who spends a lot of time in your room this hotel may not be for you due to the room size. Transportation was very close by bus stop across the street and about 8-10 minute walk to Lambeth North tube station. Staff were friendly and helpful . Did not eat in restaurant so I can't review that. The only negative I could see was the carpet in the hallways needed cleaning other than that I would recommend this hotel.

“Extremely convenient to any IMO meetings”

Since this hotel is located just around the corner from the Int'l Maritime Organization headquarters, it is extremely convenient (4 min walk). With the cost of the room, I find it extremely annoying that there is an additional internet charge.

“Excellent , well located hotel in London”

A short taxi ride form Waterloo staion, the Novotel on Lambeth Road exceeded our expectations both in quality and location. Arriving for three days in Lonodn, our main traet was aday at Hampton Court Flower Show. This hotel was well placed for a quick hop over the bridge to Westminster Pier and onto the boat which sailed up the Thames to Hampton court, calling at Kew ont he way. It was a splendid way to arrive at the Flower Show and we enjoyed it so much we made the same journey the following day to Kew to see the famous botanical gardens. Novotel is so easy to get to and from, all London's delights are either a short walkaway (Westminster, London Eye) or a reasonabel £5-8 taxi ride to Selfridges, Liberty. Across the road from the hotel is a beautiful stone church dating from who knows when, but it's old and beautiful. While we were there it hosted the wilderness garden week. It was sunny weather so a take away breakfast and a seat in this wilderness in the centre of London seemed an apporpiate thing to do, so we did and it was glorious. The ease of travel was one of the benefits we enjoyed, there are also plenty of taxis avaiable to take you anywhere and everywhere at a decent price, a great way to see the highlights of the surrounding area. We will be back , it is a discovered joy, one which I am tempted not to tell too many poeple about, howvere as it has over 300 odd rooms I think it is safe to assume there will alwasy be a chance of a bed for the night.

“Good Hotel”

Visted London for a week mid May. Hotel was conveniently located about a half block from the river and a 10 minute walk to the Underground (Lambeth North). Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable. Was comparable to a typical US hotel room. Room internet cost extra. We did not eat in the restaurant. Cheaper breakfast options were close by. Overall, we were very happy with the hotel and would recommend it to others.

“Clean, comforable, great location”

This hotel is in a great location for visiting London -- walk across Lambeth Bridge and there are the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, and Westminster Abbey just a short walk away. Stay on the South Bank and walk along the Thames to the London Eye and theatres and music. The room was very clean and comfortable. An electric kettle and all the makings for tea and coffee were provided, along with cookies! A very good (although a bit pricy) breakfast buffet gives you a good start to the day (not included in room price) and room service dinner was delivered quickly and arrived hot and fresh. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I was really pleased with my choice of hotel.

“Recommended for Family”

We stayed at the Novotel Waterloo over Thanksgiving; we have all good things to say about it. The rooms were small but very comfortable. No funky smells, very quiet hallways and tight windows kept noise out, clean in rooms and in the common areas, IKEA-like furnishings, comfortable bed, great tea kettle and tea in the room and small fridge for milk. Staff at the front desk were very good to us and helped us with maps, getting around with public transportation, restaurants, etc. Free internet in the lobby. Nice people everywhere. Located walking distance to Lambert North tube station, the London Eye, and Westminister Abby. A good launching pad for all of Central London.
