“Clean, functional and good location”
Clean, functional and good location. I've chosen this hotel for its location near to a business meeting I had to attend. I would recommend this hotel for business travellers.
“Recommended”
Good location - close to subway stations, bus and taxis. It a short and scenic walk along the river over to Westminster or through to the south bank precinct. Professional and helpful staff and an extensive breakfast buffet. We usually stay near Vic station and found the Waterloo location to be less touristy and quieter.
“Great location - exellent for 2-3 days break”
Close to main attractions , if you enjoy walking in the city - the hotel is nice option . The only ( small ) disadvantage is the lack of restaurants near by , so you have to use the hotel's one ( which is good ) or travel far away .
“Impressed, glad I choose it.”
Just back from a lovely two night stay at the Novotel Waterloo, although it should really be called the Novotel Lambeth. It sits right at Lambeth Bridge and overlooks the Lambeth Palace. A great location non the less and an easy walk to the London Eye and Westminster. We ate in the restaurant two nights in a row as it was very late when we got back from our sightseeing. Both the food and staff were wonderful. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spotless. I'd definitely stay here again!
“Nice hotel”
Nice hotel that is centrally located in London. Short walk to the tube or take the bus which has a stop right near the hotel.
“great breakfast”
Good hotel in good locstion. Staff very friendly. Wonderful generous breakfast.
“Good quality hotel”
My family and I enjoyed are stay at the Novotel Waterloo and thought that the staff were very friendly and helpful.
“Would visit again”
Great hotel, with very modern features we weren't expecting this. Good location to Westminister, a bit far from the tube station but buses at the door to take you into town. Our only complaint would be the hardness of the beds after 3 weeks of camping it was a bit disappointing we were really looking forward to a comfy sleep. In all other areas fantastic and the staff were very friendly and knowledgable.
“No nonsense comfort”
A decent, comfortable experience. No particular extras, but a really comfortable bed and easy to control air conditioning. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful.
“good location but boring”
this is a very clean tidy hotel modern in all respects with very helpful staff. free internet stations in lobby, big clean rooms with sep bathroom from toilet also. good location - 10 mins walk from Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, Whitehall and Westminster Abbey, 20 to Trafalgar Square, 30 to BUckingham Palace. Downside is the hotel restaurant and bar and empty and sterile and it is quite a walk to the nearest pub (15 minutes) or restaurant. 2 mins to the Thames and Embankment makes for a nice walk also. Highly recommended compared to the often dowdy London hotel rooms that are old, tired and small
