Dear Lucerne Thank you for your review regarding your visit to the London Marriott Marble Arch, and firstly, I am very sorry the hotel did not meet with your expectations and the inconvenience of not having a stocked mini bar. Information is at hand in the guest rooms informing of this and items available via room service. Your comments are greatly appreciated as will allow me the opportunity to review and assist us in making improvements where we can. On the other hand I am delighted to hear the staff met with your needs. My thanks again for your comments! Ross Paton, General Manager

Hotel Central London

Pros: The staff were good, location is great for West End. Car park underneath hotel is a real bonus.
Cons: It needs a complete overhaul to bring it in line with it's competitors.
Location: Location is great for walking into the West End.
This hotel is in need of a complete refurbishment. It neither hits the value of more contemporary chains nor the crumbling grandeur of the more traditional establishments. It is shabby rather than shabby chic. Our 2 teenagers had to share a small double bed, we have not had this experience even in the more value hotels. The bathroom was really poor, the plumbing noisy, not particularly clean and non of the frills that the travelling public have come to expect. The pool area was also tired, in need of an overhaul. Breakfast was average and again not as good as some of the other chains we have stayed in. It felt like a place to put your head down rather than a treat. On the plus side, the staff were very helpful and friendly. We forgot toothpaste and they were very quick to bring us some.

Nice hotel close to Oxford street for shopping

Posted 26-Aug-2014
Pros: Easy to find very clean nice pool tables and near to Oxford street and undergrounds.
Cons: Night staff not to keep asking if we are guests at the hotel then they kept starring every time they walked past felt very uncomfortable.
Location: Oxford street for shopping very close tube stations near by variety of food places to eat in walking distance.
The hotel was very nice most of the staff very helpful Car park was very tight on entry and especially exit. Liked the fact hot drinks provided at the lobby area to grab on way your way out. Enjoyed the thearter.
