“nice and cozy”
it's a very cozy little hotel in the middle of South Kensington, so pretty much in one of the best areas of London. Only a few minutes from the Museum of Natural History and the Victoria & Albert Museum. The staff's quite nice too.
“Its ok”
Nice friendly staff, place could be a little bit cleaner, just dont eat there
“Central and Cheap”
Good quality, budget hotel for short stays
“Convient and cheap”
Great location, only a couple of blocks from the tube station, nice pub and starbucks also nearby. Very basic room and nice staff.
“walking distance to tube”
walking distance of glouchester road tube with easy access to shopping, west end and heathrow airport.
“In a cheap hotel you will have cheap services”
For the money and the location it's not bad.
“Decent”
If you're not planning on spending much time in your room at all then this hotel is good. I was only there to sleep and bathe so I had no issues but I think I would've gone a bit stircrazy if I were inside more.
“Great Location”
The best thing is the location. Right on Cromwell Rd between Glouchester Rd and Earl Court underground and has good overground connection as well. It is also real close to the Museums with Bus 74 that goes from front of the Hotel thru all the museums up to Baker Street. It's a safe neighbourhood. Many places to eat at 5 mins walking distance. A Sainsbury grocery right next to the hotel which was very convenient to us. A friendly internet Cafe within 2 mins. That said, the hotel itself is very okay. If you are on a budget, need a room with comfortable bed and your own bathroom and if you get it at a good price compared to other hotels in this area it's worth it. The staff is very friendly and helped us figure out public transport and day trips from London. The room was cleaned each day and we got fresh clean towels.
“Cheap option in a good location”
I've stayed at the Majestic a couple of times, with its cheap prices (for London) and location (convenient for King's Cross and Heathrow) its main attractions. It's in fairly grotty condition. Some of the showers don't have a curtain, meaning the bathroom floor gets a good dousing, and the water temperature (which you have no control over) can sometimes be unbearably hot or cold. In winter, the radiator boils the room so it's good that the windows can open. Fine as a bed for the night, but avoid if you're after a good hotel experience.
