“Good hotel for the money”

We booked the MIC hotel at the last minute and were not expecting much. We were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. The hotel upgraded us from a double to a triple, which was nice. The room was a nice size for a London hotel, it had nice, contemporary decor and furnishings. It was located down the street from Euston Station, which made getting around city very easy. On the negative side, we arrived at the hotel after a red-eye from the States at 9 a.m. Despite the hotel checkout being at 10:00 a.m., the employee at reception said he could only let us check in at 1 p.m. (regular check in was 2 p.m.). The hotel breakfast was good, but it was only served until 9:30, and the wait-staff was quite surly. We were also surprised that the first two floors of the hotel were dedicated to student accommodations. In short, if you are looking for a clean, modern hotel in a convenient location at a good price, this may be the hotel for you. If you want true 4 star service, you may want to look elsewhere.

Area recommendations
The West End is great. Lots of theatres, vibrant and easy transportation.

Wear rain gear or carry an umbrella even if it's sunny when you leave the hotelnfor the day. London weather is unpredictable.

“Prima hotel niet ver van St. Pancras”

Dit hotel heeft ons aangenaam verrast. Voor een redelijke prijs krijg je een goed onderhouden kamer in een rustige buurt. Tijdens ons verblijf was het buiten heet en waren we erg blij met de aanwezige airco. De service is goed en snel. Het ontbijt is prima, maar de eetzaal is duidelijk op groepen ingesteld. Het kan dus gebeuren dat je moet aanschuiven bij andere gasten. Wij boeken hier volgende keer weer!

Shopping
Niet ver van het hotel is Camden Passage, een leuk winkelstraatje waar van alles te vinden is. Nabij Upper Street, Underground halte Angel.
