“Very pleased, cannot say enough good things about this property”

Stayed at the hotel twice during a 12 day trip to London, the first time for one night, the second time for several nights. Everything went exceptionally well. We arrived in the morning and the room wasn't ready, but the bell desk was happy to store our luggage. Unlike other hotels we stayed at in London, this one was happy to cash an american express travellers cheque...and do it with a smile. The bell desk staff deserve special mention. They were helpful, knowledgeable, and volunteered numerous suggestions for dining options, sightseeing, public transport, etc. Room was what you would expect to find in a north american Marriott, spacious and well equipped with superb beds. While it doesn't seem to be the case based on map location, there are actually LOTS of dining options within a few minutes walk of the hotel. A very pleasant surprise was the local community centre/library two blocks away that had an unexpectedly good restaurant in it which was open for a very good, very affordable breakfast at a fraction of what you would pay at a hotel (eggs benedict for five pounds), and with a wider menu variety. Hotel is five minutes walk from Swiss Cottage underground station.

“Great relaxed atmosphere, but still in the city”

We picked this hotel because it was close to some friends who live in London, but we found that we also really enjoyed the neighborhood. It's within walking distance to some nice parks and even the zoo (which was good since we were traveling with a child). The biggest negative was the need to take a taxi into the city center sine the local tube stop (which was very close) was closed for part of our stay. We only ate one dinner in the hotel cafe, and it was very good and the cost was not too expensive.

“Great Hotel”

Marriott Regents Park is very clean, comfortable and in a great location. It is in Zone 2 of the tube but it is very close to the Swiss Cottage station of the Jubilee Line, I would say about 2 minutes walk The area is very safe. One tube stop away is a local supermarket which saved us a lot of money with breakfast items, water and snacks. The hotel room is very comfortable. The quality of bedding is great, the shower head has plenty of pressure.

“Enjoyable Stay”

Great hotel, great location especially if you are off to Wembley for an event. Staff could not do enough for us during our 3 night stay. Rooms are exactly as the photographs show on the website which makes a nice change!! I would definitely go back.

“Very Good Hotel”

This is a very good hotel, no problems in recommending it. It's in a good position, not far from the Swiss Cottage underground station, in a decent area of London, and easy to get to if you are coming from the North. Before going I had read some reports of poor breakfasts. We ate breakfast for 3 days at different times, and each time you couldn't fault it, excellent breakfasts! They even made waffles on the spot, kids loved it. The only negatives are: the car parking charge - now 25GB per 24hrs, and the restaurant is fairly expensive, but plenty of others in fairly close proximity, ie we didn't use it.

“Reasonable value for money, comfortable well located hotel”

I recently stayed at this hotel for a family trip to London. It is in a great location, is reasonably priced compared to many of the other central London hotels and is clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I can't comment on dinner because we ate at a local restaurant, but breakfast was good. Drinks at the bar a little pricey, but probably in keeping with all other central hotels.

“Great Hotel - but a little out the way”

Picked this hotel because of the family rooms (which are great) , all in breakfast price for all of us, and the onsite swimming pool( which the kids loved). Very nice hotel, quiet location but a little out of the way. Worth the extra couple of tube stops to visit this hotel if you get at the right price.

“Great for the whole family”

We had a great stay at the Regent's Park Marriott. The room was big, the bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of room to walk around even with a crib. We enjoyed the breakfast which was included with our room rate as well as the pool and fitness center. The hotel was a little far out. We had to change trains at least once and sometimes twice to get where we wanted to go, but it was otherwise a good location. We dined in the local area and found prices to be very reasonable and the food was exceptionaly good.
