Nice hotel close to transport

Posted 27-Aug-2014
Pros: Convenient location. Great shower!
Cons: Room are a bit small
Location: Very close to London underground.
Stayed at the IBIS and it was a no frills hotel but most definitely was a pleasant hotel. Very reasonably priced, quiet and served its purpose.

Short break in the city

Posted 15-Aug-2014
The hotel is ideally placed if you arrive by train at Euston Station, right outside the side exit. The staff efficient and friendly. The room small but had everything we needed to sleep for 2nights. Really comfy beds and the TV had subtitles, which believe it or not is unusual. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice, staff constantly refilling everything and clearing tables swiftly and efficiently, all with a smile. Only small criticism would be the towels where very small and thin, but that is just being picky!

Huge disappointment - and a shame on Ibis.

Despite the refurbished lobby, the rooms were small and revolting - more like low quality student accommodation than a hotel. Extremely disappointing. Staff were far from friendly, and seemed disinterested. Definitely one to avoid.

Great location

A nice hotel close to Euston station and also close to several good pubs and restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only downside is that some rooms are subject to noise from the station or underground trains. Overall a great base for your stay in London.

Good location, great staff, comfortable room

Posted 04-Jul-2014
Pros: Location was good for me, near euston station, and five minutes to st.pancras. Good sheets and comfortable bed. Helpful staff and luggage check.
Cons: Price was high, walls seemed thin, I could hear neighbors, bathroom was a little less than clean.
Location: Near st.pancras and euston station, I was only there one night, so not sure what else is nearby.
Overall a good experience, staff was helpful, check in was quick, room was small but had good sheets and a comfortable bed. The bathroom wasn't pristinely clean, but was acceptable. I paid a lot for the room, as I reserved it at the last minute, and it didn't seem as nice as it was expensive. If u can get it at a discounted rate I would recommend it.

Brilliant location. Literally on the doorstep as you walk out of the back of Euston. Quiet, exceptionally comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean. Friendly professional staff. Excellent breakfast at incredibly cheap price.

Poor value for money even by London's standards

Posted 24-Jun-2014
Pros: Very cool projection system at reception desk - tbh, best thing about the hotel.
Cons: most things
Location: Location is great for King's Cross and St Pancras
Not much to say, an overnight in a small room that looked as though it had been furnished via a brief trip to the local budget store.

Rooms are small, but clean.

Posted 23-Jun-2014
Cons: Needs a fridge in the rooms for keeping drinks cold
Location: Location good, close to the under ground and Kings Cross, Restaurants and cafes right by the hotel
Stayed here for two nights, rooms are small but clean. No fridge to keep water etc cool during the summer months. Nice restaurant and close to the Underground.

Great Location and Great Price

Posted 14-Jun-2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Nothing
Location: Close to Euston Station, St Pancras and Kings Cross so easy to get anywhere on tube and also within walking distance of Oxford Street
This is in a great location just around the corner from Euston Station. This is a nice basic hotel for a great price in London and I would not hesitate to stay here again. The staff were very nice and efficient.
