“Excel..... ent”

Great place to stay to connect to all London venues. Food and drink facilities available 24/7. Great for concerts and business alike.

“Not as convenient for O2 as we'd hoped!”

The hotel is in a lovely location on the Docklands, the staff were polite and efficient but the 24/7 snack service was extremely slow- as the girl was working the bar and making snacks. The twin room was very clean, basic and functional although there was only a 4 inch gap between the beds! We booked this hotel because we were going to the O2 for the evening. Please allow for the taxi fares if you do this, we were charged £18 (which was acceptable) there but £30 back because of the heavy traffic and the detour needed after 9pm. The hotel is easy to get to from the DLR Royal Victoria station. Lovely for a london visit!

“Would stay at this hotel when visiting London in future.”

Hotel lovely and bright and clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Near the station to get the LDR and tub. At the moment there is alot of building work being done for the Olympics once this is completed it will be lovely as the hotel is just by the docks.

“It was OK, not great”

If your purpose in staying here is to achieve a cheap price in expensive London, this is a good option. However don't expect a lot. It is always busy, lifts are scarce, the bathroom is a prefab pod, and breakfast is average. Buidling works while we were staying didn't help. However when I needed to store my bags in an emergency after checking out, they were most helpful.

“Decent Hotel”

Overall nothing to complain about here. The room was clean and tidy and spacious. My only gripe is that the breakfast for me was poor and is not worth an extra £5.

“Good Hotel”

Can't fault the hotel at all, spotless and well maintained hotel! Would definitely stay here again...there is a local shop that sells everything so no need to worry about that. Didn't use the hotel facilities much but the room was perfect as can be on a budget.

Area recommendations
Getting the DLR is particularly easy and takes you in pretty easily. The area is very nice and have never encountered any trouble around here.

“Tevreden met een kanttekening”

Na een reis van 14 uur was het teleurstellend om 's avonds laat in een niet schoongemaakte kamer terecht te komen,die duidelijk kort tevoren gebruikt was. We werden wat bevreemd aangekeken, alsof dit absoluut niet kon; maar uiteindelijk konden we kiezen: of wachten op de schoonmaak ploeg of de enige andere kamer accepteren. Die keuze was simpel, zeker op dat tijdstip. Druk hotel (beide dagen busladingen gasten); onpersoonlijk; roken vlak voor de ingang is gewoon. 's Morgens vroeg rekening houden met luchtverkeer vanwege nabijgelegen luchthaven. Verder: standaard Ibis. Op zich prettig deel van Londen als je niet inde drukke stad wilt zitten.
