“Excellent Hotel”

This hotel is ideally placed. In a bustling area with loads of pubs and restaurants for the evening. Just a short walk from the tube giving easy access to the whole city. We went straight to the hotel from Waterloo and left our bags at 10.30 am (cant book in till 14.00) giving us hands free time for exploration. Similarily we left our bags till 18.00 on the day of our departure. Great to know they were safe. Will stay here again on next trip to London

“A really good location, excellent staff”

Very proffessional staff, helpful and friendly. In a really good spot, right in the heart of Camden and good conections for the tube and bus.

It is only one stop from Euston, very convenience! The hotel is just off the main road. There are many restaurants within walking distance so we don't need to worry about the meal and transport when we return late. The Camden market is also very closed, where you can spend a day when you don't have to travel.

“Better than your average holiday inn”

I booked this through Expedia's secret hotels deal and have to admit I was initially disappointed when I saw the name "Holiday Inn" after booking. But then I reaslied just how well located this hotel is, just a short walk from Camden station and right next to Camden Lock and it's various bars. We were only there for the late evening and overnight but everything was very pleasant and well done. Nothing (apart from the location) merited a superb rating but it definitely got a 4/5 on eveyrthing else.

“Good hotel in great location”

A very good location in bustling Camden town. The markets are adjacent to the hotel as are a range of restaurants and bars. You can walk from the hotel to Regents Park. London Zoo in about 15 minutes along the canal side.

“Excellent location for sightseeing”

We only really used the hotel as a base to sleep! That said, any staff we spoke to were very efficient and pleasant, the hotel itself was very pleasant and in a lovely area beside Camden Market and Lock. This hotel is in an ideal situation for a wee wander about locally, or taking the bus/tube into the centre of London. Would definitely try to stay here again if the price was right :D

“Good alternative to central London”

This hotel is in a vibrant part of Camden Town, overlooking Camden Lock (try and get lock view rooms). There are lots of places to eat, for all budgets, all around the neighbourhood, and it is 5 mins from Camden Town Tube, which is two stops on the Northern line from Euston. The hotel has its own small restaurant which was reasonable and the food good. There is a mini gym (3 cardio machines only) but otherwise not as much as some Holiday Inns would normally have.

“Ok stay”

We selected a 4 star mystery hotel and were somewhat disappointed by the location and the functional reception and bar area. Although we cannot quibble about the cost of our stay our expectations were higher. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and fairly spacious and the bathroom tiny. There was a constant background droning sound in the room which we attributed to the air conditioner/heater but which did not cease when the air conditioner was turned off. We did not dine at the hotel. The hotel is accessible for the underground and within easy walking distance to Regents Park. The surrounding area is lively and ideal for for young travellers, revellers and market lovers.
