“Excellent option in London”

I have to say the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in, particularly for a hotel. And sheets were crisp, cool, cotton. An excellent stay, thank you Hilton Olympia.

“Uggly, kind of shabby 3 star hotel”

When I complaint about the old carpets, doors, bathroom, etc....in my floor and room, I was told that the hotel was recently refurnished....very difficult to believe. There are some new furniture in the lobby, which are not very nice. The hotel is a dark, awful building from the 60ties and apparently should be teared down...not nice at all. It is supposed to be a 4 star hotel and expensive...I would personally never give it more than 3 stars.

“Cold Showers! No Running Hot Water! Not what one expects from a Hilton.”

We stayed just one night at this hotel. We booked and paid for two rooms: a double and a twin. We were informed at check-in that they could only supply two twin rooms because the hotel was now fully booked, despite our having paid in advance. The following morning we found that neither room had hot water for a shower. We contacted reception and were told there was a problem with plumbing and they were waiting for maintenance. After an hour we were out of time and had to take cold showers. We were told at checkout that these things happen. No apology; no attempt to compensate; just tough luck. Don't stay at this hotel if you expect good service. You won't receive it.

“Excellent Hotel”

Around the corner from the tube station, beautiful room, the bedding was so comfortable, Best hair dryer on my whole european vacation

Getting there

Olympia tube station only has the train stopping in twice an hour but earls court station is not a far walk away which has more frequent trains

“Serves purpose and meets expectations”

Good overall service as expected from Hilton. Single room small, but clean, in the Hilton "theme" and a very comfortable bed. Did not do breakfast, and why would I at £17.95 - even at £12.95 for a pre-pay at reception day before I was not tempted. Olympia tube is not too far but Kensington High St has a better service and is a bit of a hike - bear in mind address is Kensington High St but its not at the good shopping end. Got a special "undisclosed hotel" rate from Expedia - not allowed to state the rate apparently - Expedia rules - excluding b/fast for a small single room - not bargain of the century, but at least it wasn't a gamble on a cheaper 3 star which I have learned not to do any more.

“Nice hotel but not stellar location.”

Great service and recent renovations done. A little out of the way, but easy to find. Comfortable beds, however, no a/c. Breakfast not included and it is expensive.

“Comfortable in room but some drawbacks”

Very 60s style but currently under renovation (needed!). Room very comfortable, bed wonderful but bathroom outdated. Near to kensington olympia station but infrequent tube connections- better to use the buses to get around (very easy). But 15 pounds for 24 hr wifi access is EXORBITANT in 2011! You cant use the in-room fridge to store your own food as it's weight sensor 'booby trapped'- even to open the door! Also, it's a very big hotel and tour groups take precedence (lifts, attention at reception, etc).

“15 minutes from the tube”

The hotel was being renovated when we were there. The service was great, the location was convenient and the room was very clean and comfortable! We were very satisficed.
