“comfortable”

We stayed for one night only but despite our very short stay we found the hotel, staff and choices excellent. We had an evening meal in 'the carvery' which we thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was 'self service' which provided an excellent choice. The location of the hotel also excellent for catching flights. Yes, we would thoroughly recommend The Hilton at Gatwick.

“Great comfort when making a travel connection”

We stayed at the Hilton Gatwick for a night prior to flying to Las Vegas in October. The hotel booking was made online on arrival everything was in order and it took no time at all to get checked in. The location of the hotel is ideal for anyone travelling back through Gatwick airport you simply couldnt get any closer to the airport! There are a few restaurants in the hotel which are rather pricey, though very nicely decorated. However if you go into the airport there are a selection of eateries at competitive prices and a couple of bars too. We only ate breakfast in the hotel, it was very good serving a full English alongside pastries, juice, tea, coffee, cereal, yoghurt toast and a selection of fish. Our room was nice, it had a king bed which was very comfortable, plenty of pillows. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room, along with an ironing board and iron, trouser press, alarm clock radio, T.V etc. Bathroom was decent with a full bath and shower. We left our battery charger in the hotel room and on our return journey popped in to see if it had been handed in. The staff we fantastic and quickly located our item to return to us. All in all a very good hotel. A bit pricey but convenient, clean and comfortable. Good staff who were polite and helpful.

“Clean and comfy.”

I have stayed at the hotel before, and was pleasantly pleased to discover that the rooms have been re-fitted and upgraded. I loved the new decor, and the bed was so comfy!

“great for 1 night stays prior to catching an early”

only stayed the one night prior to catching an early flight. this hotel does what it says on the tin it provided what we needed, the bed was comfortable and we could not hear any aircraft noise. Had a great shower in the morning and breakfast was good, plenty of choice. lucky for us we had breakfast included in the cost of our stay as judging by what they charged for a bowl of soup i dread to think what they would have charged us for breakfast. Drinks at the bar were very expensive but this is always the case in hotels and is to be expected. We would stay here again.

“Exactly what's needed from an airport hotel”

Couldn't be for convenient with its access direct into the airport. Room was clean, warm and comfy. Staff were efficient and polite. I didn't try the restaurant but a quick coffee & cake was more than fine. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending to travellers with early departures.

“fast check-in and -out. convenient to the airport”

excellent room and amenities..only down side was the ongoing restoration in the lobby which only seemed to affect the bar. Staff were polite and helpful

“Surprisingly good”

Was concerned based on other reviews but found the hotel very good. Booked 2 rooms in the new part of the hotel and both were very clean, comfortable and quiet. This hotel was very much superior to the "5 star" Radisson I stayed in at Leicester Square. Wish I had stayed at the London Hilton.
