I was in London last week for business and randomly chose the ME on Expedia. I didn't really know what to expect. Immediately upon arrival I began to realize what an stellar lodging I had stumbled upon. Modern, clean, chic, sexy -- those are just a few words I would use to describe the place.
The reception desk is located within a massive pyramid of stone extending up 9 stories to a skylight. In the evenings, they have a reception there and project an amazing lightshow up onto the walls. It is really cool!!
There is a FANTASTIC rooftop restaurant featuring a terrace offering amazing views of London. It was a great spot for entertaining my clients.
A note on the staff -- they were all so nice and accommodating. At first one might think that because they are all young and beautiful and wearing mostly black that they might be snobby, but that was not at all the case. They all seemed to have a relaxed ease and were perfectly in-tune with making everything just right for their guests.
If you are looking for something traditional or a place to stay with young children this may not be a good fit -- as I said before, it is modern, chic and sexy. Not that children wouldn't enjoy themselves - it just seemed to be a very adult-oriented kind of place.

Long weekend shopping and sightseeing and could not have picked a better hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff could not have been more attentive. Our every request was catered for. Our only criticism was that the room was on the small side. We had a superior double but beautiful none the less. Central location within easy reach if most attractions. Fabulous.
I arrived into London early and went straight from Heathrow to the Sanderson only expecting to drop of my bags and walk around London in a jet lagged haze till the expected check in time of 3pm. To my surprise Jon at the front desk checked me into my room on my arrival and couldn't have been nicer about it. I used little of the hotel hotel facilities except to use it as a base on my visit to London. My room was alway impeccably clean and filled with lovely high grade toiletries. The room was more than adequate in size for my needs and was filled with the latest technology. The Sanderson wifi was terrifically fast and kept me in contact with family and friends. Upon checking out very early there was no delay and infact Karl the front the receptionist on duty sent me a very nice SMS confirming my payment status. I could not have felt more welcome or at home at the Sanderson and would recommend this hotel to everyone I know wanting to stay in The London SoHo area.
The entrance wasn't obvious as was situated on a major roundabout although parking at rear of hotel was plentiful. Reception staff very welcoming and conversed about our visit being very helpful to give advise. The hotel room was comfortable and breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice and it was hot!!!
We would recommend this hotel and would stay again.
