“Could have been better..”

The staff at the hotel were great, however the rooms and the service not so much. 4 of us shared 1 room which contained a teeny tiny bathroom and 3 beds. 1 of the beds was broken and the did not use a fitted sheet so during the night you ended up sleeping directly on the mattress.. GROSS! The walls had holes in them and when our toilet seat completely broke off nothing was done to fix it. The price of the hotel was great for the budget we had, but if you can afford to spend a little more I would suggest staying somewhere else. Cheers everyone!

Area recommendations
Northern London is beautiful and less expensive to stay in than staying in Central London. There are tubes very close by that you can get to in 5 minutes and take anywhere.
Getting around
Be ready to do a LOT of walking. There are tube stations everywhere in London and they are very simple to use; however you do have to walk to get to them and they only get you so close to the location where you wish to go. If you can it is beneficial to learn how to use the bus system as well MAKE SURE YOU INVEST IN BUYING A OYSTER PASS FOR AT LEAST 7 DAYS AS IT BRINGS THE PRICE DOWN GREATLY!

“Decent price, but not much else”

On the plus side, this B & B is in a beautiful neighborhood but it is quite a walk to the tube station. The bathroom facilities were outside our room (this was not clear from the booking) and even though we did not have to share due to no other guests on our floor, it was still inconvenient. Breakfast was good and staff friendly but people would lock themselves out of the Inn and then bang on the door at all hours of the day and night; on our last night someone knocked for over a half hour starting at 4 a.m. Not sure if there is a night manager or not but it took a while for someone to answer the door. I would not stay here again.

Area recommendations
If you want to see the major sights, stay near Trafalgar or Leceister Squares. There is very easy tube access to everything else from this location. We wanted to stay in a London "neighborhood" and while it was pretty, the inconvenience was not worth it.
