“London Trip June 2011”

The only good thing about this hotel is the close proximity to St. Pancras and Kings Cross train stations. Check-in folks were very nice but the breakfast serving staff was rude and really seemed to resent having to serve guests. Rooms are teeny-tiny. A large man would not fit in the beds or the shower! You can hear the underground rumble all night long. OK for a quick nap when traveling but do not stay if you have any hope for comfort.

“Fairway Hotel, centraal gelegen nabij King's Cross / St. Pancras Int.”

Karakteristiek hotel met de nodige achterstand in onderhoud. Had beschikking over een dubbelbed met douche en toilet. Douche was bruikbaar maar was redelijk beschimmeld en behoorlijk krap. De kamer zelf was netjes, meubels waren goed, waterkoker, kopjes, kast en de TV waren prima. Het bed was echter weer erg hard en het was er erg warm (22 graden buiten). Het ontbijt was aan de vette kant en het personeel was wat onpersoonlijk maar verder prima.

Area recommendations
Soho, gezellige wijk, kleine straatjes en veel leuke restaurantjes, pubs enz.

“hôtel FAIRWAY londres saint pancras”

Pas d'ascenseur, il faut monter ses bagages tout seul 3 tables pour le petit déjeuner, donc il faut attendre son tour C'est vrai que l'hôtel n'est pas cher, mais c'est vraiment le minimum de confort possible

“サービスの良さを求める人にはお勧めしません。”

まず、セントパンクラスステーションから出てくる位置によって、場所が分かりずらいです。やっとついたと思ったら、フロントが向かいのホテルと一緒になっていて、メモが書きの内容も分かりずらかったです。インターフォンも音が割れて聞きにくく、ブリティシュ英語に慣れてないと、何を言ってるのかよく分かりませんでした。向かいから、人が出てきてくれたので受付を済ませることは出来ました。泊まった部屋は地下１Fだったので、階段を重い荷物を持って降りるのが大変でした。部屋清潔感は、まあまあで食事は美味しかったです。立地場所はとてもよいので、体力のある人、安さを追及する人、あまりサービスを期待しない人にはお勧めですが、次回は泊まりたくないですね～
