“Fab location for Wembley!”
Only 2 stops on the met line for our trip to Wembley so really handy location. Opposite is a great multiplex with a Zizi's, Weatherspoons, Sainsburys & cinemas Our room was at the front on a main road which was a little noisy (I heard the traffic but my husband slept soundly all night!!) But wouldn't put me off booking here again
“Small family room”
Bed arrangement for three people is not very realistic for older persons the second bed was a futon was on the floor making it difficult for older people to get in and out and the slates could be felt throught the seat cushions that make up the bed mattress. . You have to live out of your suitcases and have minimun room for movement. No place to hang or store clothing in this size room. This hotel with some minor update in the consolidation of a couple of rooms to make true family suites would greatly enhance the the livability for families staying for three or four nights and would probably be more profitiable in the future as people are willing to pay a little extra for the additional space. The breakfast is excellent. Staff service was execellent.
“Great Choice”
I only have two minor complaints. 1)The mattress was too firm but in all fairness our hotels in Italy & France weren't any better. Maybe it's a European thing. 2) You have to pay for internet access. I know it's silly and at the end of the day it works out the same BUT I'd rather they just charge a couple of extra pounds and make it 'free'. I hate 'knowing' I'm paying for it. Perfect location. A block down from the Metro. Mall, restaurants & grocery right across street. We had 4 in our party. The room had a queen bed & futon. The room and hotel were spotless. Spacious, modern, clean bathroom. Not a lot of space otherwise but we really only were at the hotel to sleep. Good breakfast choices and very helpful staff. Would definately recommend.
“Great Value! Comfortable, clean, and convenient.”
Yes, the rooms are small by American standards, but they are adequate and comfortable. The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. The free breakfast had many selections and was abundant enough that we frequently skipped lunch. The hotel is across from a modern bar, so don't plan on sleeping with the window open if your room is in the front. There is also a fantastic Greek restaurant within a short walk that I would highly recommend, and there are other restaurants within walking distance. There are also 2 grocery stores close by that sell excellent sandwiches and other convenience food. With easy access to a tube station and right on the bus line, transportation to the city center was generally convenient. The only time we took taxis was to and from the train to Heathrow so we didn't have to haul luggage through tube stations. If you are visiting London on a budget, this is a good choice of accommodations.
“Great value with easy access to central London”
The hotel is comfortable, clean, and modern. The neighborhood is so-so, but there's a shopping center across the street that has groceries/restaurants/movie theater/Starbucks in it if you need anything. It's really close to the tube station on the Jubilee Line and so has easy access into central London. Also, the breakfast included is fairly decent. Got a fantastic deal for it on Expedia and it was well worth the price.
“Neighborhood great, bed was terrible”
My husband and I decided to try this hotel since it had a continental breakfast and free wifi in the rooms. When we checked in the hotel's server was not working, so there was no internet available. We were at the hotel for a full week and the internet did not work once during that time. The continental breakfast was wonderful. The bed in the room was abysmal. The bed felt like we were sleeping on a box spring rather than a mattress. The location of the hotel was great, it is directly across the street from a shopping center with a Sainsburys, several restaurants and a movie theater. Overall, I would not return to this hotel due to the lack of comfort in the room and the lack of promised internet.
“Nice place - good vacation hotel”
Nice hotel - convenient to tube stop and city buses stop right outside. We found it to be very easy access to all the sightseeing stops with easy changes to other tube lines. The Jubilee line that is closest goes straight to Piccadilly, Westminster and Waterloo stops. O2 shopping center across the street with grocery store, couple of places to eat, etc. On a major road, but our room was quiet. Our room was very nice, larger than we expected for London. Only problems we had were temperature related. It got cold while we were three and the room wouldn't really warm up. The room climate control is controlled by room key. If you are not in the room, the heat/ac does not run. When we finally went to ask for an extra blanket, the desk told us that they had to turn on the heater from there. Also, every day the hall window right outside out room was open, so that caused a bit of a draft. Staff was very friendly, but did not seem to know the area well. Held luggage for us when we arrived early. Highly recommend "Passage to India" restaurant about 1.5 blocks north and "Oregano" pizza place also just up the street. Great food, reasonable (for London) prices and friendly staff. Sure there are others, but once we found these, we just kept going back. We will probably stay there again when we go back.
“Simple but good, near Tube station, great breakfast included.”
The hotel was what I expected. Good service, nice people except for the red hair man, don´t remember his name. Rooms were good, not to big, but fine. Breakfast was very good actually! I would stay there again..
“Perfect for families, couples or anyone!”
Everything exceeded our expectations! The staff was exceptional, the facility was the cleanest I've ever stayed in. The breakfast (cereal, fruit, sweet rolls, bagels, juices, coffee, tea, milk, cheeses, cold cuts) was plentiful and ready when scheduled, and everything in our room was welcoming. The location is close to the tube, a block away from an internet cafe, a mall and there are numerous ethnic restaurants in a very safe neighborhood. Great value for the money!
“Good Hotel, couple of niggles with the booking!”
At the back of the building it was quiet and the breakfast was pleasant. It was a shame that there were engineering works on the overground line for our journey home, and the hotel's description that it was adjacent to the station was a little inaccurate (not far turn right walk round corner for 3 minutes). We were disappointed when a friend joined us that we were quoted one price for an additional room and then when she called herself, they had put the price up - still, she managed to get the lower rate over the internet on her iphone!
