Awful, so bad I didn't stay for the 2nd night

Posted 21-Dec-2014
The Covent Garden House no longer exists. It has been turned into a private members club called The Library. It's impossible to find as it looks completely different, the number for the hotel given by expedia is no longer in use, so you can't even phone for directions. The room was actually quite nice, but the bathroom could have been cleaner. But the worst part of the stay was the party! As a private members club, the hotel hosts parties, the first nights party continued until after 1pm, the noise was unbearable. The other rooms appeared to have been booked by partygoers, so there were people constantly running up and down stairs, shouting, swearing etc. On complaining we were told there was also going to be a party on the 2nd night, hence the decision not to stay another night.

Great for Central London and business

It was an over night stay, and I must say I was very pleased with this Hotel. It surpassed my expectations. The only thing I would say is that the name of the Hotel has changed to LIBRARY. So I was confused when I first arrived. But being an intelligent person, I walked into the hotel and they informed me of the change

Now called The Library

Posted 12-Jul-2014 on Hotels.com
The first thing you need to know is that the Covent Garden House is no longer the Covent Garden House. It's now called The Library. Along with the name change, they've seemed to have changed the style. It's now revolves around the concept of being a members club that has hotel rooms. Meaning, it caters to its nightlife more than it caters to the traditional guest. If you're looking for a unique boutique experience in the theater district, it's a good hotel. If you're looking for a hotel with traditional american hotel amenities, do not bother. And don't think about bringing your kids here.

Will be great once renovations are completed

Posted 25-Jun-2014 on Hotels.com
The room was impeccable, somewhat larger than I expected. I echo the other reviewers when it comes to the plumbing though, I had to wait 20 mins or so to get the right water temperature. There were major renovations happening during my stay which was not communicated at the time of the booking. It did not impact the room itself, but the common and reception desk areas were a mess. The staff were aplogetic about it, but I think there should have been some kind of warning and a deeper discount on rate.

super beliggenhet.

Vi hadde et flott opphold på dette hotellet, til tross for at det var under renovering. Reiser gjerne tibake for å se når de blir ferdige. Utrolig sjarmerende lite hotell, med en fantastisk beliggenhet.

Staying in London overnight

Posted 20-May-2014 on Hotels.com
Very comfortable - but there is no breakfast and usual (awful) coffee sachets. Room has a microwave, kitchen sink - so you can make your own meals or just cross over the road to many cafes, restaurants etc. Few yards from Trafalgar Square so excellent location.
