“Great for Hyde Park”
Nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable room. The walls are a bit thin, so one night was a bit noisy with xmas party people coming back late. The in room safe was a bit problematic as it wouldn't open. However, a maintenance guy came very quickly and sorted the problem. Great location as Lancaster Gate tube station is 3 minutes away and you can walk across the road into Hyde Park.
“Lovely”
Professional, courteous and kind staff who were very responsive to my needs.
“Good quality hotel close to Oxford Street”
Very helpful check in staff, who solved an unexpected problem, and who upgraded my room as a result. The hotel is a good budget 4 star hotel, clean, efficient and friendly. My Viceroy room was very spacious.
“Good location. Nice people inside.”
External renovation needed. Looks a bit drab inside. Polite and efficient employees. To get good rooms, you have to go for the top-rated by the hotel itself.
“Not stay in this Hotel in the future”
During my check in the people in the desk there is not friendly and they have in their mind that they are the client.
“Great location”
The breakfast buffet was inconsistent. Horrible one day, pretty good another.
“No complaints”
The Corus Hyde Park was comfortable and located 1/2 block from the Lancaster Gate tube station and a 10-15 minute cab ride from Victoria Station (train station). The staff were professional and I had no complaints. However, be aware that not everything is included. Check to make sure your WiFi is included otherwise, if you use the WiFi in the lounge you are charged extra.
“Had a Wonderful Stay”
Good location, Friendly staff, nothing but good things to say about this hotel. Easy walk from Paddington Station ( the Heathrow express stops at Paddington ). Close enough to Kensington Market & Portobello Road., as well as Oxford Street shopping. Many interesting restaurants on Queensway.
“Corus - Bayswater”
I stay in the Bayswater area for about a week every summer, and I've seen the Corus Hyde Park and wondered what it was like. A price drop in the room rate allowed me to move up to a slightly better hotel at a slightly reduced rate. I was traveling alone and the room was a single -- and remarkably small, much smaller than most (but not all of the rooms) in the area. But it had everything I needed and was laid out in a way that I didn't have to climb over the furniture to get from one spot to another. (Actually, a comfortable chair for reading would have been nice, but there was no space available for that.) Neat, clean, tidy, and in good repair. Helpful staff. Great location. I suppose my one complaint would be that my room was right at the elevator landing; it looked as if my door might have been custom-made because of the space available -- it was narrower than a normal door. It was also thin, and so I heard the elevator pinging all night long. I'd suggest thicker doors for those rooms -- or turning the elevator sound effects from, say, ten at night to seven in the morning.
“Loved the Corus Hotel”
Location to underground was a huge plus! Loved being close to Hyde Park. The hotel was beautiful and we loved our stay. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit London. the only reason we marked down the comfort of the room is we thought the pillows were too hard. We would go back without hesitation.
