We were upgraded which was very nice, room lovely on the 5th Floor number 580. The only minor detail was that on a couple of lights around the room no bulb. The maids could check this out when cleaning the room. But saying that had a really lovely stay, and would not hesitate to stay again at the Hotel. All staff very helpful and nothing too much trouble. We arrived early (our room not ready) but were able to leave our bags in a secure area, this was helpful so that we could go sightseeing.
We traveled to London to visit our son, so we needed a room for three people which is not easy to find in London. The executive suite and a rollaway bed were perfect. Plenty of room. The staff at the hotel were very helpful with suggestions for sites to visit and restaurants.
Thank you so much for an amazing stay!
The staff we so lovely and I'd asked for a room with a view of millennium dome and that's exactly what I got. It was my mums birthday and they were so wonderful making it an amazing weekend.
So close to the dlr line that the location was perfect for us getting into the centre.
Where to begin... I was SO sad when I checked out, because I'd had SUCH a nice stay that I didn't want to leave.
I travel to London frequently so 1) I know what typical central London hotels are like and 2) I'm simply unwilling to spend over $200 (USD) a night on a single room during off-season. I've stayed in some pretty crazy places, and my prorities are privacy, cleanliness, and security. The night I stayed at Mornington, in fact, I had stayed in 2 different hotels that week. All were in the $90-150 (USD) a night range (you're just not getting cheaper than that in Central London unless your standards are really low). My room at Mornington was small, but extremely well-appointed. The en-suite shower and toilet was shocking spacious (no tiny London stall!), and very modern. The actual bedroom was small, but not nearly as small as most. There was a single bed (sooo comfortable too), a suitcase stand, a chair in the corner, a desk, and a night stand. Without any furniture the room would have been abnormally large for a London room, with, there was about 3 feet of clearance all around the bed. I had a nice window to get fresh air, a large flat-screen TV, and a phone in my room. Clever storage maximizes the space (hair dryer, iron, ironing board, and safe in closet. Kettle and service inside the large desk door).
"We always stay at this hotel when we visit London."
We have stayed at this hotel many times. The location is great and the staff is very professional. They are always responsive to any concerns that arise. We have considered other locations but we continue to find this hotel to be our choice when in London.
The Hotel is in a great location ,close to Kensington High street tube. One minute walk.Lots of good restaurants within a short walk. The Hotel check in was very speedy. Our room was a newly refurbished double.Very comfortable bed.Good T.V. Tea and Coffee making facilities. The Bathroom had a nicely fitted shower, albeit quite small but perfectly adequate. The room was unbelievably quiet. No traffic noise whatsoever! So all in all it really does get a ten out of ten.We will certainly be using them again.Hope this helps!!
On arriving at the hotel,
The service was prompt and extremely friendly I recieved information about transport and the facilities that are availible from the hotel and anything I did not comprehend at the time was clarified by a welcoming book within the comforts of my room food was very nice and the room service staff member very friendly the female on the desk at reception I believe was Paula was absolutely brilliant and made my expierence go from great to acceptional she went above and beyond her duty and for that I will be returning to this faultless hotel thanks you everyone at the radisson for such a great stay !
The hotel was excellent and we would return on another visit. We found the restaurants in the hotel did not have enough casual or light dining. A coffee shop style facility would have been a welcome addition so we could pop in for a light snack in the evening. Otherwise the hotel was superb.
