“Good value for money”
next to metro, nice and clean, good value for money
“Bring earplugs”
There was noise from the Disco which seemed to travel up 2 floors and also noise from the street. The windows were double glazed but for this hotel with a really central location, they really needed more soundproofing. Great beds and shower though!
“Great if you need a bed for the night”
This hotel is great if you wish to stay overnight in somewhere that is very close to the tube stations. The issues I had were mainly to do with the 3 single beds for one person, the shower that had very little power and the local neighbors not wanting to go to bed till 1am. The hotel is good if you are passing through or have a large group just really would have expected more for the amount that was charged.
“No sleep”
Shockingly noisy
“Sightseeing in London”
This is a good hotel within a minute of Aldgate East underground station and just down road from Brick Lane and Petticoat Lane markets. The road the hotel is on has lots of Indian restaurants so cannot go wrong for this type of food. Staff in the hotel were helpful and polite. I arrived before the 2pm check in time and was told my room was not quite ready but I could leave my luggage and come back anytime after 2pm to gain access to my room. I returned later on in the day and i gained access to the room. The room was clean and tidy. I was travelling on my own. the room had a double bed and a pull out sofa and was ideal. If you are sightseeing I would recommend you buy and underground Zone 1 & 2 day ticket which will get you to all main sightseeing attractions - currently priced at £6.60 for the day (after 9.30am) All in all a good hotel just outside the centre of London with easy underground access to the centre. Would recommend the hotel.
“a great value”
This hotel was in an area that is supposed to be where you can see many notables, especially in the evening, but we weren't out at that time. There is a subway station nearby. A great value for a London hotel.
“Overall good hotel”
Pleasnt staff, good location, well maintained spacious family room. Would return to this hotel.
“not impressed”
crappy hotel for cheap budgets, the type of hotel room thats convenient to cheap travelers but dont expect pleasure for the eyes.. Still, it was clean wich is important, although bed blanket very used and floor carpet somewhat dodgy. Had an empty fridge to store drinks or fruits.
“OK hotel with great location”
This hotel is in a run-down area, but very convenient to underground transportation. We felt a little uneasy at first seeing people climbing over the walls of vacant buildings across the street when we first got there, but we didn't feel too unsafe walking the streets as there was a lot of foot traffic. The room we had was rather run-down and not very clean. One night we arrived back to broken glass in the bathroom and on the carpet by the bathroom. Housekeeping must have dropped something on the floor and didn't get all the glass cleaned-up. The night staff came with a vacuum and cleaned it up for us. All-in-all if you can live with somewhat less than acceptable levels of cleanliness and upkeep for a great location at a reasonable price, it would work great.
“very nice”
the hotel is very close to the london you would want to visit, the tube station is about 200 yards away, the hotel itself is in a very clean and tidy condition, you really will be hard pushed to fault it, petticoat lane is about a 5 min walk from it, although we did not have breakfast in the hotel there is a lovely little cafe next door, the staff didnt converse much but were helpful if asked anything and the room were cleaned daily, not the poshest hotel in the city but for the price we thought it was very good, if you expect a 5 star hotel for the price of a 3 star then this is as close as it gets, safe, clean, tidy and well mannered staff, the only draw back we could find was the area arcoss the street was a derilect workshop thats is not a pretty sight, but to be fair it doesnt cause any real upset, all in all a very good hotel with friendly and helpful staff,
