“Clean and accesible location”

This hotel is easy to find. The closest tube station is Gloucester Road, be prepared to go up two flights of stairs before u get to the lift though. Otherwise, the hotel is located within walking distance on Gloucester road on the left of the tube station. There are grocery stores everywhere in this location if u plan to use the cooking utilties that the hotel provides in each room; this will save u a lot of money eating out, as London is so expensive. The hotel is clean, quiet and comfortable, plus the maids do light cleaning daily. The mattress is very comfortable, it was hard to get out of bed in the mornings plus the sheets are quality thread count. I really had no problems with my stay and would recommend this hotel.

“An outstanding experience in London”

An excellent hotel in a prime location. Located near an Underground station, wonderful small shops across the street. Felt safe in the neighborhood. The desk staff were attentive. Nice restaurants and a pub nearby, serving excellent food at reasonable prices. Had a clean kitchen for snacks. Did not need the room cleaned everyday, fresh towels provided everyday. Room was very quiet and dark for day or night sleeping. Friendly neighborhood. Highly recommend. Not like American hotels, no hair dryer nor dresser drawers but these were minor inconveniences for us.

The location is excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the large studio we had was just right for a couple visiting for a few days.

“Perfect Location in Kensington”

Beautifully kept hotel. Had only a few issues (no plug in the bathroom, but that was fixed with no issues). Another issue we had was the fire alarm going off at 3pm on Friday for testing....considering we had just got in from a long flight and had just gone to sleep (our 2 year old included) it was an issue. Could have been warned about it when we checked in. Otherwise a beautiful place. Would go back no problem!

“Simply Fabulous!”

We took our spring break family vacation in London and stayed a week at the Citadines Prestige South Kensington in part based on the tripadvisor reviews. We were more than pleased. We had the one-bedroom apartment, which was a terrific size for a family of four with 2 pre-teens. There was a very comfortable double bed upstairs and the downstairs sofa folded out into a bed as well. There was a kitchenette w/ a small fridge, a microwave, a cook top and a dishwasher. Everything was immaculate and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Having wi-fi provided free was a plus, although the service was a little sketchy at times. The location was perfect as the neighborhood was family-friendly w/ lots of shops and restaurants. The closest tube station was Gloucester, which was about 3 blocks away. We made our way around London easily from there. The price was mid-range compared to other London hotels, but we purchased a flight/hotel package through Expedia and got a pretty good deal.

“Good Value Hotel in Gloucester Rd”

Our room was really too small for 4 although the couch/bed was as comfortable as any of these are. Kitchenette was adequate but cramped. No means to isolate main bedroom (up steep stairs) from living area, so no privacy for upstairs or downstairs. Good location, close to Gloucester Rd tube, Waitrose supermarket and numerous small shops and restaurants. Good value for money. Easy bike ride to West End and plenty of public hire bikes ("Boris bikes" outside the door.
